There isn't much information about this but thought I would give it a go. All it says is:

Touching Danish crime drama from Walter Presents. Police detective Dan Sommerdahl investigates crime in an idyllic seaside town. What effect does his work obsession have on his personal life?

But from a one line review I saw online may be more of a personal drama than a police drama.

Ooh. Noted

I hadn't realised each episode is 2 hours, so have recorded and will give it a try soon.

I have now watched 2 episodes and am finding it quite "easy" watching.

No over the top characters with strange conditions, and although about murders, nothing reallly gruesome.

More about the working and family relationships of the murder investigation team.

Its set in Helsingør, Elsinore to us Brits, and seems like a nice unspoilt sea side town. With an impressive castle!

Probably isn't as unspolit in real life, but makes a sea side life style look very inviting.

Just in case anyone is looking for something to watch that isn't going to leave them tense and / or in shreds. Smile

I enjoyed it

Was impatient so bought season 2 and 3 to watch. It's v tame but I could watch that harbour view for 2 hours with no trouble!

Yes easy watching.

I've just started High Country if you haven't seen that. Another one with scenic views. It's on iPlayer. A bit more gritty but is filling the Sommerdahl hole!

Yes I started a thread about it, and nobody responded. Sad

You've found your person :)

This was OK, but I was starting to get more and more irritated with the marriage storyline and the "perfect" daughter.
Lovely setting though, and the crime stories themselves were good.

I’ve watched the first one and enjoyed it. Very light for a scandi thriller but easy to watch and the setting is nice.

I’ve watched all of them and really enjoyed them. I watched them on a streaming platform a while ago.

I’ve also watched the Sandhamn Murders, beautiful island scenery and beautiful people as well. Quite a few episodes from 10 series. More of a Midsomer rather than a Spiral.
