I’m not sure if I’ve missed the reason that the electric cables and new service pipes are on the surface of the walls of the Welsh farmhouse kitchen…were the owners not allowed to channel them into the walls and then plaster over?

I don't know re the cables.

My word that castle in Scotland is some renovation project. 😮

I really disliked the pink living room the couple did in the house. All that lovely plasterwork painted a ghastly shade.
But they loved it.
