Apparently there's a 2 part thing on the beeb on Mondays and Tuesdays, so the final is Wednesday, too.

I notice on iplayer it says ‘new episodes every Wednesday’ now.

I'm.quite pleased it's on weds now, as I can watch the "supersurgeons" thingy on Tuesdays.

In between episodes of this series I've gone back to rewatch series 1 and the difference in sewing ability is astonishing. Also the challenges are more sensible eg adapt a plain top which is clearly more aimed at every day sewers

Why do they keep saying 'pattern cutting'?

They are just cutting out the pieces of a pattern. Pattern cutting is making the pattern pieces from scratch.

Like anybody that sews cuts out a pattern
It's a fairly standard skill for dressmaking.
