yes and they really respect each other. i suppose with the one child policy they can afford to run schools like ping ming.

it's still a strange culture isn't it

It is a charity school not a government one

It is run with money from a rich business man or woman

The head goes to the mountain villages to find children who can benifit from going to the school

I wish some children would behave in USA and UK like them

Like the Head says their saying is

i really hope they're all treated well

well I think they are all happy

cos I don't believe you can get little children to smile if they are sad and unhappy

I think the children are really well looked after and cared for

yes they did seem very happy didn't they and i suppose you can't fake that.

the military training at university was a bit worrying though

it's such a great series uplifting but upsetting. the poor boy with his snoopy bag that had to leave.

I agree the little boy who had to leave

But to loook on the +++ side at least the family will know what is wrong with him even if he can't get treatment cos they are so poor

Also she did it in the best interest of all the children

i know, just plays on the heart strings doesn't it.

Documentary series about a group of children at three schools in rural China. Xiuning county may be 1000 miles from Beijing, but that hasn't stopped Olympic fever reaching its schools ahead of China's first time hosting the games. It's Autumn and, after the heat of summer and exams, students hit the sports field. With 3400 students, Haiyang Middle school is the largest school in the county so sports day is a mammoth undertaking for the deputy head teacher; for school radio DJ Zha Yujie, it's the highlight of the year. Ping Min primary school holds its first sports day ever. Young champion Dai Deli is determined to take gold.

i love the way they're all really getting geared up for the olympics. the pe teacher at ping ming was really sweet too and the little boy who won all the medals apart from the tug of war. aw but they all cheered him.

i know it's communist but parts of it seem to work.
