Marty is being held because it's "knife crime" and it's in the news, and had he done it in the way Samson described it's a violent crime, I suppose..,?

I don't like how Lydia is being. Like she's earned the right to be like Lisa but she hasn't imo.

I think Lydia suspects the little shit is lying. We can expect her counselling him to do the right thing with lots of that really annoying head nodding that she keeps doing. I’ve gone right off her recently.

Think Tom saw Wendy arrive on the camera so went home to see what was going on.

That's exactly how I feel about Lydia. Suited to the part of Sam's wife but she's no Lisa.

On the plus side I think only one 'nodding wisely' incident tonight unless I missed one.

I've always thought the situation with Belle will end up with her being spirited away by Tom via one of the usual Emmerdale methodologies. But what I hope will happen is that Cain will rediscover his inner fire and ride to the rescue, beating up Gaslight Tom in the process. He's much too soft of late.
