It’s a shit show in Emmerdale nowadays

I'm conflicted about the more light-hearted storylines because I always moan about the plethora of unrealistic gangster/crooks/kidnappers/drugs plots.

BUT. The Rhona tattoo thing is indeed garbage, and better writers would write better light-hearted stuff. Not only that, they use the same plot devices all the time - people lurking and eavesdropping right at the crucial moment; unlikely affairs etc etc.

I had to think who Ella was for a moment. Only a few weeks ago and I'd already forgotten her! 🙄

@JaneJeffer you didn't miss much with your signal outage - hopefully it was during Rose time. She is taking up more and more of each episode. No idea what she got from the plastic gangster - nor do I care. I said to OH there's something odd about Rose's face but he couldn't work out what it was either.

I can't believe Will was so easily manipulated by Rose. Surely he can't be that thick. She is not only horrible, annoying and self serving. I don't want Will and Kim to split up because I like seeing her with a family and being a Grandma.

Why did they change the storyline from Josh pushing Samson into the knife Matty was holding because he was clearing up to Matty defending himself? Is it as simple as different script writers having different ideas for the storyline?
