Oh god that was painful to watch, she was so nearly free. Now she won't be able to leave because he'll be recovering. He's going to make her life even more of a misery. On the plus side the counsellor lady seems to have picked up that something isn't right so hopefully she'll keep checking in.
I know it's only tv but I have such hatred for this character, just want to see him get his comeuppance now.

Oh Jesus, I just watched tonight's ep, that was awful. She was so close, and she knows in her heart that it's abuse. She was so nearly away and free. It's rare I get so involved in a Tv drama but it's so poignant and well acted. It could have and has been a similar experience for too many women. Nearly there then they reel you back in, inch by bloody inch. I've read spoilers about how long this is going to be drawn out (nothing more) and It's starting to feel morbid watching Belle slowly die inside.

Yes it's going to be painful watching. When she went to him in the hospital his face was all screwed up and angry, and when he said it was too much for her as she'd just had the miscarriage, I swore he was going to say abortion. So he's either lost his memory (a Emmerdale favourite!) or he'll be keeping it up his sleeve. Poor Belle. But I think Moira has done a good job with Cain (unwittingly) and will have wound him up enough to watch him release his fury on Tom in the true Cain style. that's what I think anyway..

Surely Paddy would have heard all the banging and smashing so he knew where to find Tom. And Moira will want to know how her barn got smashed up. Hopefully a few of them will start questioning Tom's behaviour now.

I think he’ll be keeping it up his sleeve, the fact that he knows Belle had an abortion and then use it on her somehow. Hopefully now she’s opened up to her mental health worker, they’ll be on the case and helping her more

How will Tom explain the smashed up barn though? It was ok when Noah left so can’t pin it on him. Breakdown bc of miscarriage so he gets the sympathy vote ?

It's only going to get worse now that he knows about the termination. I'm dreading it.

Belle is so tiny and fragile looking. Tom will get what he deserves one way or the other. Soap villains always do. We should find out soon though and not have to see months more of Belle crumbling. I've never been much of a fan of her character but in this storyline she's playing it so well.

Yes Belle is acting it excellently. You can see and feel every emotion.
