I hate the night sessions. It’s a far more sensible setup at Wimbledon where they start at 11 and just play through until all the matches are done. It’s silly having a big gap in the middle of the day then matches not finishing until the early hours like they have at the other slams.

Jane that's not good. make sure they have no need to mess with electrics at 1.30!

Ours has the Giro d'Italia on 1 Raahh it just randomly came on in the middle of Carlos' match!

Chessie RG have never really managed to get it right with the night sessions- (even though they only schedule one match)it's not helped by the fact Paris doesn't really have the same weather. It might be warm in the day, but it can be really cold at night.

It is a real waste of a court to have it sitting waiting for a night session, just for the sake of having one.

The other thing of course, is they favour men's matches as the 'big' event . Not all the players are happy to keep being the one doing it (Carlos wasn't the other year). RG are reluctant to schedule Iga to beat someone in a double bagel, after people have forked out for 'night session' tickets .

I also don’t like the night sessions in Paris - sometimes they start even later if the day session is still being played and then later in the tournament there are big gaps between the two sessions - they never seem to learn though

Jack Draper’s match has just gone into a fourth set which I am pleased about for him but I need to get off the settee and do something - too much tennis already!
