That sounds exhausting, Chessie- definitely put your feet up next week.
I've got to take my car for an MOT today. It's ancient and held together with duct tape. I am praying it passes
.
We have torrential rain (again) and the dog is refusing to leave the house.
I saw that Diego played his last match at RG yesterday too. It really feels like the end of an 'era' this year (I know this gets thrown around a lot- but so many players are calling time this year)- like when your dc leave school. A whole group of players seem to be leaving together- a few who never quite managed to fulfil the potential they had. I can see why (in Domi's case) he no longer feels he wants to keep going though- just to keep getting injured, and losing early. Must be getting demoralising.
Heartening to see so many comments on SM agreeing that Domi has been treated poorly by RG- not everyone is lucky enough to have a 'home' slam, so the chances of an possible WC would be lower. But his record should have been enough to warrant one. And a proper send off, at the main event.
With a bit of luck. Beelzebub will be the next to announce he's off
