The 2nd series of this FX drama is up on Disney+. The first about Joan Crawford and Bette Davis is exceptional, I'm hoping the same for the second - Capote Vs His Swans. Unlike the first series I know nothing about Truman Capote.

Tom Hollander stars.

Is anyone else watching?

Spoiler

I had thought they would do the 2nd series of Feud on Charles and Diana. It's not really a feud between equals. Hedda Hopper v Louella Parsons: THATS a Feud

I've almost finished watching this series and enjoying it. Tom Hollander gives an amazing performance, it must have totally drained him.

Lucy Mangan in The Guardian only gave it three stars whilst an earlier review in the same paper gave it four stars. Lucy criticised it for not being "fun", perhaps she was expecting something more superficial featuring an acerbic but affectionate gay surrounded by adoring fag hags. Instead, it's much more thoughtful and nuanced, and goes beneath the surface. It shows a rather unpleasant, tiresome but troubled Truman with the Swans portrayed, to a lesser or greater extent, as enviable on the surface but underneath shallow and unhappy, not to mention snobbish - Joanne Carson who is shown caring for Truman in his final days is dismissed by him and a Babe Paley mirage as not up to their standards for having putty coloured walls and buying lamps from Pier 1.

So I would recommend. I loved the first Feud episode featuring the Bette Davis and Joan Crawford feud but the two series are very different.

Haven't seen the second one as we don't have disney+ but have seen the Betty and Joan one a few times and it's outstanding I loved every second . I'd never been a fan of Jessica Lange but she's perfect in this .

I'm on episode three and love it. I also loved the first series

I've given it a go and I'm glad I stuck with it. Tom Hollander is incredible and I agree this must have completely exhausted him.
