Did anyone watch The Big Zuu going to Mecca?

I was very curious about it. I only know him due to his food stuff on the TV but I found this fascinating. I think it was good that he decided his friends should come to as I am sure he enjoyed it more.

It was fascinating that actually some of the things he does are considered Haram. I have forgotten the name of the thing it is called when you go to Mecca and do the ritual(s) , not the Hajj, the other thing, and wonder if you then have to give up things you had been doing - in his case, designer gear, talking to girls and a bit of alcohol and singing!

Umrah is the name of the smaller pilgrimage to Mecca.

I watched it. Had mixed feelings. I wondered who paid for the trip.

I did. I didn't know who he was before the programme but think it was a very real portrayal of how young people approach the concept of pilgrimage. He needs some desperate help with anger management though- the way he swore (verbally abused) his friend was disgusting- 'hangry' or not.

I wondered that too- it sounded and looked like a paid advertisement by the Saudis at times.
