Stickysusan · 07/04/2024 23:05

Nothing

PuttingDownRoots · 07/04/2024 23:07

What do you mean by traditional TV? As in "live"?
Or on a traditional channel, even if its on catch up?

The only thing we tend to watch live is sport. Everything else is just when its convenient.

Teacakesontheside · 07/04/2024 23:15

Richard osman house of games, death in paradise/beyond paradise, formula 1, great British bake off, news (question time etc), Vera (crime dramas), Phil and kirstie, ben fogle. Lots of different things. Often what will also entice dc (which means some I may not have chosen to watch on my own but do because its great bonding).

Redshoeblueshoe · 07/04/2024 23:18

I'm busy reliving my youth, so it's ITV4 currently watching Dempsey and Makepeace, and The professionals.

Mothership4two · 08/04/2024 05:58

Long-running shows like Taskmaster, Masterchef, QI and Gogglebox and sometimes The News. Tend to be disappointed by newer stuff on there (dramas and comedies) and we generally watch Sky, Amazon and Netflix. OH and DS watch sports when it's shown there and Match of the Day.

MrWarmth · 08/04/2024 06:04

I watch live sport but for anything on the terrestrial channels I just catch up via iPlayer or ITVx whenever I can.

BatshitCrazyWoman · 08/04/2024 06:07

Do you mean actually watch live, OP?

I watch Beyond Paradise, The Apprentice, MAFS, Sort Your Life Out, Bake Off ... but either on catch up or I record them.

VenetiaHallisWellPosh · 08/04/2024 06:07

24 hours in police custody. Who do you think you are? Sporadically, Taskmaster.

Giggorata · 08/04/2024 06:36

Snooker.

Pinkfluffypencilcase · 08/04/2024 06:41

I only watch live tv. There’s lots to watch. Apart from Saturdays! When it’s mainly sport.

hunted/mafs
Sort your life out
Hone and away
question time/ news
grahan norton
Drama channel is my current fave

BobnLen · 08/04/2024 06:55

The news and local news, series like Call the Midwife, I watch Eastenders and Casualty on the early showing on iPlayer so not sure if that counts, Gardeners World, Phil and Kirstie, Midsummer Murders and lots more. DH watches Pointless and snooker. Lots really considering we have Sky and all the streamers.

Traumdeuter · 08/04/2024 07:05

If anything it’s news (mainly in the morning), sport and sometimes CBeebies in the evening. Everything else is on catch-up.

Mimrr · 08/04/2024 07:07

Nothing. The only thing we watched last year was the coronation. Have cancelled my licence now and got rid of the TV. Slightly inconvenient to not have iPlayer but not worth £15 a month for it.

Streel · 08/04/2024 07:10

I watch dramas (but usually on catch-up).
Currently This Town on BBC and Passenger on ITV.

BBC & C4 news. News programmes.

Occasional documentary.

Eastenders 🥰

LenaLamont · 08/04/2024 07:11

Gardener’s World

sandgrown · 08/04/2024 07:12

News, dramas, documentaries, quizzes . So much on the i player . Rarely Watch Netflix.

Meadowfinch · 08/04/2024 07:13

News
dramas
films

Mostly on iPlayer. Some channel 4 and ITVx

EventuallyDecluttered · 08/04/2024 07:17

Strictly, Bake-Off, House of Games, Death in Paradise, Ghosts, The Apprentice, Gogglebox, occasional documentary. I rarely use Netflix, Amazon or Apple.

BobnLen · 08/04/2024 07:18

I watch probably an equal amount of normal TV and streaming, so for example today's viewing will be Eastenders on iPlayer, Pointless, News, Ripley on Netflix, The Cuckoo (new series on channel 5), The Regime (new series on Sky Atlantic), I do watch a lot of telly.

mondaytosunday · 08/04/2024 07:22

Nothing. Even if it was in traditional tv I watch it on iPlayer or that channels streaming service. But I mostly watch Netflix/Disney/Prime.

chattyness · 08/04/2024 07:46

I've been re watching older shows on tv apps as I enjoy them more. I've got behind with Brookside on stv player but I'll catch up when I get time, I'm trying to get Outrageous Fortune, Westside and The Almighty Johnson s watched before they get removed from the app and then I'll go back to it, alternating with Prisoner Cell Block G on My 5 .I might watch Wentworth again after that. I don't ever watch regularly scheduled TV anymore.I do try and find programmes from Australia or New Zealand to watch even when I've seen them before because they're so good . Loved Fisk recently on Netflix too

BobnLen · 08/04/2024 07:54

I forgot Strictly, Dancing on Ice, I'm a Celebrity, (Celebrity)Big Brother, all watched live as shown rather than later on catch up, and The Masked Singer

Elebag · 08/04/2024 08:05

I only watch "traditional" live TV. There's enough channels on freeview to ensure there's something to look at when I sit down.
Mostly BBC2/4 or the BBC news. Real Housewives and cookery shows at the weekend.
