I saw Kate Nash in the summer! She was amazing! I love her fairly new (compared to Made of Bricks era) song Wasteman, she sung it live with her friend dancing about and it was just joyous! 😂

I had never heard of Raye until tonight. Maybe it's cos we're a radio 6 house.
Ds (14) hasn't.
Dd (12 ) hadn't.
For a minute there, I thought I was just old. But then I remembered that the brits were never reflective of what people actually listen to. Lots of amazing British bands out there at the minute, but totally overlooked.

The post office woman presenting the first award and moaning she hadn’t been paid any compo was totally cringe.

I'll never understand how many artist can win best breakthrough artist AND best artist 🤷🏻‍♀️

My most memorable Brit memory is Jarvis Cocker invading the stage and mooning Michael Jackson. Nothing memorable after that 🤣

I don't blame the post office lady having a whinge to be honest , that has been going on for decades and they deserve it to be wrapped up and paid out. I'm not holding my breath though despite all the recent publicity and tv drama, I think the current government will continue to kick it into the long grass

I was blown away by Raye’s performance! I was only half watching the awards on catch up today whilst doing housework but that performance made me stop and rewind a few times to rewatch and really take it in, it gave me goosebumps at the end. I really enjoyed the majority of the performances to be honest, and I’ve not had the time to really pay attention to popular music for the last decade so I didn’t know who most of them were! I felt the general atmosphere was very flat though, not like it used to be! I think people are far too worried about going viral for the wrong reasons these days they don’t just let their hair down like they used to.

I did think Kylie had morphed into Joanna Lumley . Great bone structure or the same surgeon ?!
The Brits seem to be one big advert for graduates of the Brit school .I didn’t really enjoy it . Am getting too old .Think will give it a miss next year. Miss the ones of yesteryear.
