No. It’s something I never really got into
used to watch or with ex dh here and there but when changed the cast I went right off it

I knew there is a long standing thread by someone else so I would never tread on their toes

Honestly it's a shadow of the show it once was.

@Blondeshavemorefun I’m not sure when it will appear on UK terrestrial (or if it already has) but some there is a new Maigret remake in a modern setting. It was showing as a PBS series but with a mostly Brit cast so I’m assuming it will appear here.

It reminded me of the updated Bergerac - it wasn’t bad, undecided as to whether I prefer the vintage settings but it was good “hotel evening” fodder.

I’m not doing a thread as didn’t appeal to me but there is prisoner 951 that starts tonight and Tom for 2weeks on bbc 1 at 9pm

I will be watching this on BBC iplayer as have followed the story of Nazanin quite closely.

The actress I like. Played lale in gangs of London

Prisoner 951 got a 4 star review in the Times. I will watch on iPlayer.

I will be watching episode 2 later, but will wait until tomorrow, so it will have aired on TV before I comment.

There's American Sherlock spin-off (loosely) Watson starting on Sky Witness tonight at 9pm.

What I don't get is why it's called Prisoner 951 when Nazanin's number was actually 95001?

Legal clearance / liability

Using the exact prisoner number of a real detainee can raise legal issues, especially when:

• the case involved another government (Iran),
• the events were politically sensitive,
• the show is dramatised rather than a documentary.

And also it sounds snappier, riffs on Fahrenheit 451.

I am so behind on TV....can't decide what to watch.. I love a good drama..any recommendations please 🙏
