Hi all. I’ve had another huge list not allowed - which has pissed me off as took forever to type all the names

so going to stop tagging on each thread but add the thread title here so anyone can click and find - I think that is easier

I’ve split the old list and new list into smaller groups and will add on here so if you get tagged then reply and can be on threads you are on and will keep getting any notifications of new threads I do

I will try and work out whose name isn’t on mn anymore as it’s bugging me 😂

Apologises if you get two or more tags on here. Just means you were on original list that has been going for a few years and then new 2024 list

Agreed - and even if a series turns out to be pure shite, there's usually some enjoyment from the cutting comments on the watch along Blondes thread! 😄

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/05/2025 22:13

Oh yes the threads are sometimes better

My thanks to Blondes too. I’ve got a few series under my belt so first idea was to pop here to see what our TV queen has listed. I’m just starting the Game

Davros · 17/05/2025 11:28

I see that The Chelsea Detective is back on 21st May on a U channel

I've recorded Code Of Silence and Long Bright River. Any tips on which seems best?

duc748 · 19/05/2025 00:48

Also, I rather optimistically started a thread on Sunset Grove, on C4 (Walter Presents). obviously sub-titled, but I like the Finnish sense of humour, and this looked fun, I've only watched the first ep. Pleasingly short episodes too! 😀

Long Bright River is long episodes too. I didn't make it to the end of ep #1, don't know if I'll persist. Haven't seen CoS yet.

I've done the same. However last night I didn't skip through the adverts. The silent advert break about halfway through was amazing. Such a good idea.

duc748 · 19/05/2025 15:31

They are probably wising up to the fact that lots of people either fast-forward through ads, or mute them. So ads need to work 'on silent'.

Both CoS and Long Bright River are gettting the thumbs-down from me. Former suffered from massive implausibility of lead's besaviour ("only in the movies!"), the latter just didn't draw me in enough to care.

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/05/2025 13:04

I’m loving code of silence but struggling with long bright river

Thank you for the headsup on Death Valley.
I love when your suggestions are BBC or Channel 4 as I have them.

Davros · 21/05/2025 17:02

I finished The Game. Utterly ridiculous, thoroughly enjoyed it!

I like anything on BBC too, no ads! My first post on the thread but have been watching for a while. Will join the Sunday night weekly watch for BBC1 Death Valley. “A comedy whodunnit set in rural Wales.”. I’m guessing that means stunning scenery. I don’t really associate Timothy Spall with comedy though.
