Anyone watching?
I thought it was a great refurbishment.

I think the stairs were moved, only because I think I saw them being covered over at one point in the build and I'm sure they weren't there in the shots of the concrete slab after it had been poured.

i guess they didn't do anything with it and it's a future project. They never showed it at all, even unrenovated did they?

Last night's shop was a great size, definitely had their personalities stamped all over it, with a garden bigger than most we've seen. The cellar bugged me too and I wanted to see if the stairs had been moved and what was down there!

SoupDragon · 04/04/2024 08:31

I loved that it wasn't all modern and "matchy matchy" at the end. Not entirely my style insofar as I wouldn't have chosen the same things but I do tend towards a more eclectic style than is often seen on these programmes.

Hated the blue and white striped curtain on the kitchen unit though!

Good lord ! Just watching this week

Lampslights · 01/05/2024 21:23

What a wonderful job they did…

SwedishEdith · 01/05/2024 21:28

What was the RIP message at the end? Looked like it was for two people.

longtompot · 01/05/2024 21:59

@SwedishEdith Just paused it now and it says Andrew Neaves 1955-2024 and Elinor Neaves 1958-2024 so I am guessing one of their parents?

Oh, it was his parents. Andrew Neaves

Thank you. How sad.

Was this weeks the pylon tower? That's the one I've got recorded but I've seen that one before?

SoupDragon · 03/05/2024 08:53

Yes, they are repeating them now.

LadyEloise1 · 04/05/2024 08:51

It was a repeat this week.
I thought there was to be a whole new series.
I don't know what Channel 4 is doing.

Kirsty n Phil's programmes appear to be all repeats -Locationx3 and Love it or List it and A Place in the Sun is also just repeats. 🙄☹️

SoupDragon · 04/05/2024 09:02

Series 3 did have 7 episodes so I guess that is actually a full series.

MJCadman · 04/05/2024 09:08

It's weird.

I even checked I had hadn't recorded it from one of the other channel 4 channels that show repeats.

Why have a new series then bang old ones on the end.

SoupDragon · 04/05/2024 09:36

I wonder whether they book a scheduling slot for X programmes but then some of them don't make it in time for the broadcast date. Either the whole project fails or has a horrendous delay... something like that.
