Yes it was really hideous. The thought of having to go through that, then bringing up a baby from his affair, not being able to have another of her own and him not wanting to pay for the IVF because they have the affair baby (Hugo), her being drugged by the affair partner's mother, then the cancer (not to mention all that happened to her before she got with Toadie). He created a lot of misery on her life. And that of all women he has been with it seems.

Yes he is. I like Sadie when she's included in stuff. Her face when she found out that it was wendy taking her clothes.

I get ridiculed (with love) by some people I know too. They are the ones missing out.

Because there was a delay in her cancer diagnosis as they thought it was all evil nanny poisoning that caused Sonya to be still recovering. I remember the two being linked at the time.

I was bereft too. Like a lost soul without my neighbours fix. I started reading the neighbours family trees site.

I keep clicking the yes I loved it on amazon prime. In case that helps their decision. I couldn't take it being gone again! Dramatic i know but it's felt like neighbours of old lately.

Sonya during the affair and death was phenomenally sad and terrific acting by Eve BUT before that Sonya was mighty annoying and lest we forget her drunken relapse which lead to Mark attempting to torch her shoe on a grill rack of a bbq and later the two of them deciding to have a baby and her be the surrogate for him and Steph who had been together for 5mins.

Aah yes the shoe saga.

Yes that was an odd story for sonya to offer surrogacy to mark. Did she have a thing for him? Mark did for her didn't he?

It truly has felt like Neighbours of old.

Another Neighbours question:

Have we seen Byron and Nicolette before they appeared a few years ago (Immean the appearance before they both got new heads)?

Did we ever see them as kids? Ever see them before they came on a few years ago and Nicolette dated Chloe and Byron was the escort?

BTW, I can't warm to new headed Nicolette no matter how much I try. I really liked old headed Nicolette and she was one of my favourite characters. I also liked her with Chloe better than wishy washy Ellie with Chloe.

It's the personality transplant, the bad acting, the lack of parenting of her daughter, but especially (hope I don't get too flamed for this) her face. She's the only character on tv that makes me feel quite cross when I see her face. It's just so harsh and o really dislike her mouth and teeth. Old Nicolette looked soft and pretty and it did allow her to get away with more. Wide eyed and beautiful and with a sweet smile and overall sweetness and vulnerability regardless of what was happening. Made it all believable.

This Nicolette rubs me up the wrong way and (I never think this!) I wish they would give her a new head again soon so I can like the character again.

From favourite to least favourite because of the actor change is quite significant.

I agree @HappyWorkingMummy - her face doesn't allow her to get away with as much / make it believable as original Nicolette with her wide-eyed doe-ness!

The shoe torch thing was Sonya got drunk and crashed into a building. Was it the hostel? Someone was in there and got hurt, can’t remember who but think it was someone young. Mark found out it was Sonya and there was an incriminating shoe probably in the Ute she drove and he found the other shoe and desperately put it in the grill rack of the bbq and tried to destroy it in the dumbest way possible.

I’m going to look it up for all the ins and outs.
