Lovely neighbours thread. Why does Chelsea keep stroking Paul's face in that weird way? It's so icky.

When Therese said, 'Let's get you home and change your trousers.' Toadie's face just looked like a naughty toddler. 😂I want him back with Mel, but I hate that she's turning into a bunny boiler. The whole point is that she wrecked her life to put Toadie and the kids first.

Chelsea needs to be pushed down the well asap. Lucy went from being protective and all 'Stay away from my brother,' to, 'Oh, you've bought me a prosecco, we're bffs now.' She's meant to be cleverer than that.

How convenient that Felix just happened to have the letter in his pocket. Has he been carrying it around since he received it (which is presumably before Philippa died)?

So Felix is going to be a new character. Obviously JJ’s dad (love the way they introduced the “Andrew was adopted” thing to explain why the DNA didn’t note that Andrew and JJ are uncle and nephew). Who on the street is he going to have a hot romance with? Mel is surely too old. Holly / Mack too young. Therese could do with some comforting although she is also a bit old O think. The only age appropriate women are all gay I think! Or is he gay / bi and so can eventually help Aaron get over David.

I was sat there thinking what idiots they were for not realising that the DNA test would show that Andrew was JJ's uncle.

The letter was actually the diary pages. No idea why Philippa sent them to him, and I marvelled at how crisp they still were.

Today's episode was very dull. I could barely stay awake.

They've done a good job casting Felix, JJ definitely has a look of him, similar jaw and eye shape.

It was a snooze fest today though.

What was Chelsea wearing to work today? Makes me feel v old that short shorts and a plunging strappy top is acceptable business wear for a hotel manager!

Fell behind but finally caught up. All of the episodes around David, before and after death and the funeral - it finally felt like old Neighbours again! That was a really great collection of episodes. Seems to have slipped down a notch since though.
Why is everyone being so mean to Aaron?! He's just lost the love of his life and everyone is badgering him. No wonder he disappeared.
I wish we could speed up the Paul/Therese and Toadie/Mel reunions. The dragging out is dull now. I'd love to see Angie pay a visit and sort things out.
Loved the drop-in info of Andrew being adopted to explain the DNA not matching. Pleased that the Rodwell family is expanding too. My bet is on Felix either having an affair with Wendy or otherwise corrupting JJ into criminal ways.
Sadie and Byron would be a nice couple, hope they get together!
Ahh, Karl is heading off to see Susan/do his tour, so we won't see either of them for a while. I miss the two of them being at the heart of the street.
And finally, the return of over-acting voice-wobbling Nell!

@Bridetobe2025 At the end of today's episode when they show what's coming up tomorrow Nell is actually crying, so maybe she'll get it all out of her system and be able to speak properly!

Byron feels too old for Sadie

Perhaps I'm ignorant or naive but I don't understand why the school needed to be in a lockdown after the knife was found? It was found tucked away on a shelf, and no one was seen wandering around with a weapon. Surely a teacher would remove it to somewhere secure and call police, but no need for all kids to be held in classrooms?

It didn't look that scary a knife, either. I've seen more dangerous bits of geometry kit.

I would really like to see Paul & Terese back together, they have great chemistry!

Me too @Flipovertwiddle they are so well suited, and maybe Terese can buy the annoying Sinclairs out of the hotel and run it alongside Paul again. Back to the good old days!

I don't think that portrait of Paul would help me sleep better at night, I think it would give me nightmares!

I don't necessarily want Paul and Therese back together but I've had enough of Toadie and his underbite staring into the middle distance like he's lost his keys every time Melanie walks by. Therese deserves better.
