Do we know why Susan/Jackie has been away for so long? I thought she looked quite drawn underneath all that makeup and pencilled on eyebrows and they've even come up with a reason for her having a sore throat. I hope she's ok! She definitely wasn't acting when she was saying how pleased she was to see everyone. She looked genuinely overjoyed.

I saw elsewhere that Jackie Woodburne's prolonged absence was due to a bad bout of laryngitis, which was actually mentioned at one point today.

I wasn't too keen on this poogate storyline, but it's been totally worth it to hear all the poo puns. I feel like dinner at Jane's served no purpose to the plot and was merely written in to get a few more puns in.

It's such a random minor story that I'm wondering whether they had to add it last minute to fill in for some of Susan's scenes while Jackie was off sick.

It felt like standard neighbours to me like Gary and Karl having a sausage competition or Lou doing whatever with Harold or when they had a cycling club.

I forgot to mention before, what’s the vibe between Byron and Dex? Is it just someone to look up to? Dex was giving me crush vibes but I’m not sure if that was intentional. It seemed to have come out of nowhere.
