Will the Paul/Terese/Toadie/Mel quadrangle resolve itself? Will the Baddie Builders ever return? Will Eden get his comeuppance? All these and many more, coming up on Neighbours.

How old is Chelsea meant to be

She looks over 40 but perhaps she isn't meant to be

Cara looks too young OTOH

HoHoHoliday · 12/04/2024 16:33

There must be more to come out of the Haz situation, I'm not convinced he's given the whole story. The hackers moved Holly's money into Haz's account rather than steal it. So what's the end goal? I suspect he's done something more sinister than he's let on.

Chelsea - urgh! That guy is a sleazy slimy creep for jumping right into her offer.

Totally agree - they don't have any resemblance or chemistry to be sisters (but think that's just poor acting on both their parts rather than how they look!)

I'd put Chelsea as someone who is late forties but looks good for her age IYSWIM so the whole storyline with Paul jars.

Arconialiving · 12/04/2024 16:50

Just googled - internet says Viva Bianca (Chelsea) is 40 so I assume if that's her official age, then she would be more like 45.

HoHoHoliday · 12/04/2024 18:28

I would guess the character of Chelsea is late 30s. I'm sure there was an earlier conversation that Cara was trying to conceive while Remi was still at medical school, which would have made them mid-20s then so around 40 now. And Cara is the older sister I think? Plus, if there is a pregnancy story looming with Chelsea and Paul she couldn't be too far over 40 (yes it happens but not too often).

I'm concerned about Trevor right now, no one has noticed that he's gone!

Smidge001 · 12/04/2024 20:41

I also think Chelsea looks mid to late forties, just good for her age. She also has grown up children who've flown the nest so that ties. Yet if she thinks she can get pregnant easily they must be suggesting she's in her early 30s - but she really doesn't look it to me.

And yes, Cara's the opposite! She looks way too young to have teenage children. And they really don't look like sisters at all.

I'm not sure it's just the acting. Cara seems like a very no nonsense person, I just can't see that she would put up with chelsea's scheming. If I was cara and chelsea was my sister I would be keeping her at a distance not wanting her to stay in my house. I think poor character development from the writers makes it unbelievable that they're sisters.

SleepingStandingUp · 13/04/2024 11:25

Wasn't there something about Chelsea looking after Cara or looking out for her and something about having not gotten through it without her, so that might explain the tolerance with family gratitude.
Chelsea also made a comment to Remind about her not disliking controversial relationships or something so I assumed that was aimed at the age gap between Remi and Cara

Arconialiving · 13/04/2024 14:08

I agree @WhyDoesItAlways - Chelsea felt thrust upon us and Cara a convenient way to write her in but then nothing between them after that!

Oh this rings a bell.

Smidge001 · 14/04/2024 08:21

Surely the 'controversial relationships' comment was meant to reference the lesbian/mixed race thing rather than an age gap? (Homosexuality was only made legal in aus in 1994, gay marriage in Dec 2017).

SleepingStandingUp · 15/04/2024 09:55

Ah ok possibly, it didn't occur to me those things were controversial but yes.

Ooh come on IT guy, get hurt and tell all!!

HoHoHoliday · 15/04/2024 17:32

The IT man gives me Clive Gibbons vibes, though I love Clive and very much don't like this guy. But they have a similar look, like they could be cousins.

SleepingStandingUp · 15/04/2024 18:39

It's clearly gonna turn messy with this guy. I reckon Krista will work it out or overhear something, she'll tell Paul, who'll confront Cowbag who will end up getting over wrought and telling him "I locked the door!" just as the episode ends. She'll confess all and then flee before he can do anything. Therese will come round to comfort him and they'll sleep together, just as Toadie arrives home

Or Krista will! I"m still getting that vibe!

The IT guy gives me the creeps, but I guess he's supposed to seeing as he accepted sleeping with Chelsea in order to fix the report lol.

SleepingStandingUp · 15/04/2024 23:29

And then promptly fell in love with her 🤣🤣

Rummikub · 16/04/2024 00:56

Chelsea’s faces do make me laugh.
When IT guy fed her the strawberry 😂 so awkward!
And knowing it was her fault about the door locking why is Chelsea going further and tempting Krista with meds!

Shame Haz wasn’t an evil genius.

DeadButDelicious · 16/04/2024 07:44

She knows Krista isn't going to let it go because why would she? So shes trying to get her off her tail by distracting her with drugs and trying to get her to fall off the wagon in the hopes she'll forget all about wanting to know what happened. I really hope she doesn't just disappear, I want some Paul Robinson justice! Using his nefarious ways for good for a change! Then she can go. And hopefully never come back.

MiddleClassProblem · 16/04/2024 08:07

I’m surprised she hasn’t tried to take advantage of Sam. My hope would be that she does and Sam clocks it and is the key to her rumbling. But there won’t give Sam a decent plot.

Chelsea literally told IT man she was offering him sex because she was desperate for Paul not to see the report. How can he now be smitten?

SleepingStandingUp · 16/04/2024 09:07

I really hope Krista resists, Chelsea has taken enough from her already

HoHoHoliday · 16/04/2024 10:44

@MiddleClassProblem I just had to think really hard to remember who Sam is, it's been that long since she was in a storyline.

EBearhug · 16/04/2024 13:22

He works in IT. He may not be used to interacting with women. (Some of them are entirely normal.)

MiddleClassProblem · 16/04/2024 22:16

😂

WhyDoesItAlways · 18/04/2024 19:52

Just sat down to catch up on this weeks episodes and accidentally opened my5 like it's 2022.

MiddleClassProblem · 18/04/2024 20:45

Ha! It’s so funny when your mind totally does a reset like that. I had a thing where I said my childhood house phone number as my number. I haven’t even had a landline for 6 years!
