Ah I've just watched tonight's episode.

Collins was RIDICULOUS!! He was like a pantomime character.

Well I hated Lauren yesterday but tonight I like her!! I want her and Evelyn and some of the other discerning females from other series to get together and form some kind of a women's advisory service.

Women like Tori - they talk the talk about being all high standards etc but they just let themselves be manipulated.

100% this. He’s not being fake, he’s desperately trying to be a mafs person doing a mafs thing without having the understanding of the relationship at the heart of it. He’s trying to be and say what he thinks he should, but the trouble is, he doesn’t know those things. So he says wow a lot and is genuinely shocked when he realises his time there is over. He shouldn’t have been on this without a great deal of support at every level. And he comes across as an arse - it’s not fair really.

I wonder if anyone will ever sue the MAFS producers. You know how a few years ago stuff started coming out about X-factor and Love Island not supporting contestants with their mental health? Plus Jeremy Kyle. Associated suicides.

Pretty shitty to set someone up to be emotionally abused and humiliated on TV. Plus encouraging them all to drink far too much. Very problematic. I actually think MAFS might get cancelled in a couple of years.

Lauren, Evelyn, Melinda and Domenica would be a force to be reckoned with as experts 😂😂

Collins was terrible. Only concerned about how he'd cancelled everything and that MAFS was over. Not ever a thought for Natalie. I too am angry that he was deemed suitable. I'm glad she walked.

Jayden came across well EXCEPT talking with his mouthful 🤢. Repeatedly during the questioning of Jack. There was no need. He could have finish it before talking!

Can't work out what's going on with Tori. She was at least clear that she didn't have to answer to them and didn't want it discussed so she killed it off. Fair play to her for that. And clearly the trailer shows trouble ahead.

I warmed to Lauren tonight but feel like I'll go off her again quickly.

I'm really sad about how quickly the "strong independent woman" disappeared in the face of lust.

Does anyone else feel like Tristan and Cassandra are getting less camera time than the others?

I feel as tho they’ve missed out a lot of the honeymoon stuff this year. There were quotes at the beginning of tonight that I don’t remember seeing.

The bum hole faced Jack story line is so Brontë and Harrison, I'm bored at the prospect of it.

At least Collins and Natalie would have been new territory if they'd continued.

Watching Collins made me really uncomfortable and I think after the way he behaved he may get a difficult time irl.

He seemed off to me... maybe just trying too hard to fit in. I worry about the impact the inevitable chicken memes will have on Collins

If that's true, what a pity the "experts" didn't recognise it before pairing him with anyone, especially someone emotionally vulnerable. Unless, of course, it was the producers' decision to put him through to spice up the show. 🌹

Yep. I'm deliberately keeping away from social media on this until after the series because I don't want spoilers, but I expect to find them being given a fair bit of flak for pairing those two up. I think it's complete BS they thought Natalie could bring him out emotionally,

I also expect they will take some "feedback" on their psychological assessments. Surely they get loads of applications. Leave the vulnerable bereaved alone.

As someone who works in the field I actually think Collins may have a mild learning difficulty. He struggles with cognition and understanding basic questions. As well as his social communication. Really don’t think he should have been on the show at all. He also seems like a total arsehole….that is unrelated to the above!

I'm not convinced he has a learning disability. I think the possibility of him being gay is higher. He seemed to have little idea of how to behave authentically, even in a manufactured process. He constantly performed for the camera, 'turning it on and off', but the off camera moments caught his awkwardness and discontent with himself and how he presents.

I think we caught a glimpse of the true Collins when he angrily accused Nat of ' badmouthing the honeymoon '. It was the only time we've seen any genuine emotion from him.

Yes that was mean of him - and accelerated Natalie's distress I think. He also did himself no favours as he was transparent to the other spouses particularly during his leaving speech. 🌹
