Hi all, please share where one can watch feel good old soaps and movies.

No violence or overly sexual scenes please.

I've stumbled on Keeping Up Appearances and enjoyed it with lots of laughs. I caught it on BBC iPlayer at my MIL's. I don't have TV license so I have to wait till I visit her watch more.

Thanks.

Well you can upload ITVX to your tablet, phone a lot of old stuff on there

UK TV play has lots of old and classic series.

‘As Time Goes By’, 6pm on weekdays on Drama, Freeview channel 20. If you have no TV licence perhaps you can watch it on UKTV Play? I don’t know what you can watch without a licence.

It’s pleasant people being pleasant to each other. The leads are Judi Dench and Geoffrey Palmer.

As others have said ITV-X. Also Gold and Talking Pictures TV channels.

Thanks very much.
I do have the ITVX app but hadn't gotten round to trying and nerd to know what to look for.

My neighbour was watching birds of a feather recently when I popped round, I was surprised, hadn’t seen or heard it in years, they were new ones too! Not sure what she watched it on though, sorry 😔

Youtube .
in cinemas they have a once a month or every so often films showings like that too

Also art house venues can sometimes or occasionally do this

if they don't?

Have a chat with them to do a trial period of watching classics films every so often to see if other people be interested in those types of films too.

I’m currently enjoying To The Manor Born. It’s so comforting.
