It is so dull. There is no-one to root for. There is usually at least one person, if not one whole couple, that makes watching the season worthwhile for me. This time, nada. It doesn't help that there is not a single charming man in the lot.

Yeah I found the whole pod thing more annoying this series I don't knownwhy it was just boring, maybe cos they changed the format and focused on a few people for too long. Or they didn't really show the deep chats just everything is compliments or nauseating word salad

Yeah seriously. Like I don't even remember seeing Amy in the pods at all.

Also I don't know what it is but it just felt like everyone was saying "I love you!" within 10 minutes!

I did have to use an article that listed the couples to get their names beyond Jimmy and AD.

The pods were all about the triangles this time, which made it hard to work out who was actually getting along.

jessica was very up herself - oh you will be GUTTED you turned me down, i am so pretty. And you RUINED my experience. Everyone was dating a few people.

There does not appear to be anyone on the final 5 couples who was dumped by another and then picked another person. So less chance for "this is what you could have won" on the vacation, but plenty of chance on meet up with all contestants.

I don't think people with kids should go on it (unless kids over 18) as thats just not right for anyone to marry someone in 4 weeks that their kids have to live with.

I'm rooting for AD but Clay is not the right man for her

Agree going on the show with young kids is probably unfair on all parties

I'm a bit sad to see the highlights of coming episodes where wotsit is telling doodah that he's changed and gone all quiet. That seems a shame.

Just caught up! Jimmy is a self obsessed person, but Chelsea is mad insecure. That’s going nowhere.

Caught up with it all now. I only realised when S6 was released that I hadn't finished S5 yet. Shows how much I cared about that one.

I'm not really invested in any of the couples in this one. Johnny and Amy are the only ones I could see actually getting married at this stage. Kenneth and Brittany are sweet but I could see being back in real life being too much for them together. I hope I got the names right. 🙈 Jimmy and Chelsea already seem rocky, Trevor is a better match for her I think but she does have a lot of insecurities which could ruin any relationship.

Matthew was just so weird. He put on a show in the pods for the women it seems and I think the way he acted in the room with the other men was very telling. I don't believe he told two women the exact same thing then said he didn't.

Was it Matthew who seemed very focused on being on TV and thinking of the cameras too? It reminded me a bit of Irina who seemed to want the fame more than the love connection. I guess you get a nice free holiday out of it if you get chosen at the very least as well.

The Christian couple have not really had the opportunity to shine, they might be worth rooting for.

Matthew kept talking about "American is watching" and never wanted to propose in the pods but have his chosen partner leave with him? When the aim of the game is to actually propose, go on honeymoon etc?

Highly controlling - he had a list of 15 questions and didn’t like it if they asked a question back etc or telling them to pick other numbers.

The fake deep connection was just - I’m a shark but you haven’t told me to go maybe I can love bomb you. Eg telling both girls AD and Amber if they loved him they could leave together and he could go and get them and propose etc and saying he wanted to tell him Mum that ‘he’d found his wife’ and then umm…. He goes after the other one eek!
Clay is a player. AD is a fixer and she wants to tame him. Jimmy is too young and needs to stop focusing on what his parents want and think about him.

Ken and Britt could go the distance. He’s 25 going on 50 and she wants to be a SAHM.

But I wonder if they cut the really bad stuff out with / about Matthew as he turned up crying to AD at the end and every time he was caught out he was so manipulative first silence and then sweet talk and then making out he really loves them and that he’s the one feeling insecure so they both reassure him etc and emotional invest. When she didn’t he was like right I’m going to get Amber who has left! Good grief he’s a classic narcissistic abuser.

I think if AD didn't look as amazing as she does then Clay would definitely have had issues. Despite being on a show that's meant to be about the emotional connection I do think he's one that focuses on the physical looks too much. He backed off after his questions about her body didn't go down well but I don't think he changed at all with his thinking.

DH absolutely hates me watching this but it's funny how much he gets into it when it's on.

Already Clay is saying daft things. He is super cute but he is 30 a d does not seem ready to settle down. AD seems so much more mature than him.

I think Chelsea should have chosen Trevor. He seemed like a good match for her. He was kinder and a great guy. She seemed uncertain and so does Jimmy.

Jimmy, Chelsea, Laura and Jeramy very inappropriate in comments about AD. Really not cool.
