I liked the circus one, but I have missed why Owen is dead. Why is he dead?

KatyMac · 21/03/2008 23:46

It's worth it (bit sad tho')

Gosh I should have taped them

There was a good bit with Jack & Inanto in this weeks wasn't there? (or was that last weeks?)

But why is Owen DEAD? Why?

bandgeek · 21/03/2008 23:53

I would so join in a game of naked hide and seek with Jack and Ianto

Torchwood is one of my telly highlights

gracepaley · 21/03/2008 23:54

OWEN> DEAD> WHY>

A resurrection GLOVE? Really?
But he is not properly alive though is he.

Solitaire · 21/03/2008 23:57

Grace, he was shot in the first episode that martha turned up in. Jack then brought him back with another gaunlet that he found to ask Owen for the code for the body fridge. After that Owen didn't just die, he brought the grim reaper back with him. TW defeated the grim reaper and Owen's been left in an undead limbo. Answer your question.
PS lurve Capt Jack, he has such a levely smile

Solitaire · 21/03/2008 23:58

levely?? I mean lovely

bandgeek · 21/03/2008 23:58

He was shot by someone (can't remember who) and Jack brought him back to life (supposedly just for thirty seconds) with one of the big gloves from series one to get a code for something, and he never died again.

He can't heal and doesn't breathe. Dunno how they are going to keep that one going

gracepaley · 21/03/2008 23:58

A resurrection GAUNTLET? Even better. Can Owen ever reach full humanity again? Or is he destined to remain in purgatory forever?

bandgeek · 21/03/2008 23:59

Took too bloody long posting that and Solitaire explained it much more clearly anyway

Apparently he's in purgatory forever. Seems a bit like Death becomes her. Give it a few more episodes and poor old Owen will have to get the spray paint out to touch up his flaky bits.

Ta bandgeek, personally I thought it was abloody awful explanation

gracepaley · 22/03/2008 00:03

I love the idea of Mr Robinson turning up in Torchwood. Or Harold, perhaps, starring as
an alien manatee.
Hm. Owen must be saved. They must have set up a condition of release in the episode where he got shot.

Or perhaps I need to save him myself....

pukka · 22/03/2008 00:05

captain jack gets to live forever, owen gets to die forever.
sigh, they are both gorgeous. and i sooo like badboys

gracepaley · 22/03/2008 00:05

He can't have SEX?

Solitaire · 22/03/2008 00:06

I keep waiting for a get out clause cause poor old Owen seems bloody miserable, I'm sure Russell T Davies will come up with some outragously camp solution in the series finale

pukka · 22/03/2008 00:06

nope. cant do anything living people do
