Couldn't find a thread...

Just saw Ep 1. What a lovely town.

So sad all the elderly lady's stuff was still there. Makes you realise your precious stuff is just junk to be chucked out to other people.

Amanda is Marmite, but she has really scooped Alan up and saw him through a dodgy year when he split from his husband.

Glad to see the hunky Scott is back.

To add, enjoyed the first programme and looking forward to seeing the end result. Plus to see sunshine...

Loved the last series.

The house was amazing. I wouldn't have thrown the furniture, I would have upcycled it!

Hoping they go to Lucca at some point, as that is a lovely place.

Yes, some of the furniture was recoverable. Sad. Such a beautiful area. Remind me why I live in the UK?

I really liked both of them in the first series, and I was quite surprised because I hadn't liked them before. Alan was a bit calmer than usual, and I found Amanda really funny, which was a nice surprise!

I like Amanda. She is vain and a show off but I think underneath that she is a nice person, funny and friendly. I love Alan. Can you imagine going for a drink with them? Laughing all night I would imagine.

I enjoyed the first series (also surprised by Amanda!) and enjoyed the first episode of this series. I was also sad at the furniture - I thought the sideboard that broke was actually lovely. Hopefully they keep some of the stuff (I deliberately didn't watch the end minute where they had snippets of what is to come)

They seem really good friends and get on so well. Glad Alan is in a better place this year.

The location shots with all the hills and steep drops made me feel slightly queasy! So beautiful though but I could feel it triggering vertigo 😂

That sideboard could have been made over and been a real feature piece.
