15 is way too young for breaking bad

@Redlarge

for YOUR child, in YOUR opinion.

Surprised no-one’s mentioned Stranger Things.

@MrsSkylerWhite

she asked for series to watch together, we didn't watch that together, she watched that with her friend online. Plus a few other things mentioned.

we watched Anne without an E together too, but much younger than 15.

For any 15 year old footbal/ sports l fans Captains of the World is a great series following the human story behind the football captains at the last World Cup. And a football mad parent of course although as its the human story it's interesting anyway.

TheClitterati · 06/01/2024 05:29

ghosts
Traitors
Good Place

My 16yo and I watched Survivors on bbc together.

Would watching the Percy Jackson series spoil the books? I got DS the box set for Xmas and he hasn’t read them yet… @mum2jakie or @Terfosaurus ?

The current Disney Plus series is based on the first book so would probably be best to read the first book first, if he already has the set. You don't need to have read the books to follow the series though.

For the poster who said that Breaking Bad is unsuitable for a 15 year old, I disagree. My son started watching Breaking Bad with us at 14/15, wasn't too old for him. We then went on to watch Better Call Saul together too.

Sex education

Careful with sex education, it's really good but very explicit and is actually classed as a 18. We did let DD 16 watch it but we'd seen the whole thing first.
