Can I skip Broadchurch season 2?

So I’m quite late to British crime dramas but recently watched happy valley and broadchurch season 1. Loved them and I want more! I’ve heard awful reviews for Broadchurch season 2 and been told it’s not worth watching. But can I skip straight to season 3 or will it not make sense without season 2?

also what should I watch next? 😄

I would watch s2 as from what I rem they do all interlock

@Thejewellershands I thought it was interesting, covers another story that links into why she recognises his name in episode 1 of season 1. Plus the aftermath of season 1. Saying it like this in case anyone reads this who hasn't seen it.

I would say yes to watch it. Season 3 also brilliant.

All series are worth watching. I enjoyed 2 more than 3 to be honest.

Oh I’m really glad to hear this because I was excited to continue but then heard nothing but negative reviews saying don’t watch it! Think I will give it a go 😄

I thought series 2 was awful and from memory you can skip it.

I don't R.E.M. it being bad tbh
