The Sue Barton nurse books, set I think in the 30s/40s (US) went into lots of detail about the various hats. I loved them.

The costumes are one part of the show that I’m still enjoying. Love a nice hat!

The dialogue not so much. Long, heartfelt speeches in every episode - who is writing this rubbish?

I am anticipating a financial crisis for Trixie and hubby. Maybe he’ll head off to far flung shores to sort out late Papa’s business interests and just never come back.

Fred going from death’s door to sitting up laughing and chatting 10 minutes later did amuse me. But I’m glad he didn’t die.

New build flat
Terrace house back room
Terrace house front room.

In the past, I've definately spotted all 'new build flats' are the same set, just rejigged and repapered to look different.

Even then would you be examined for something as serious as TB in front of all your kids like that ??
