I think the point was that they couldn't ever afford to do the house up properly and it would be a constant stress. This way everyone was happy .

I kind of expected Mike to die in the series and become a ghost or maybe have an accident like hers so he would meet the ghosts too.

I'm glad Mike didn't die! Hadn't crossed my mind.

The ending bugged me because they tried to buy a new house before and they all have ghosts in. That's why they came back to button house. She'll have resident ghosts wherever they go.

Priorities totally different once you have children.

I saw this the other day.
After the Christmas special I rewatched the whole lot from the beginning. I am wondering if iplayer skipped a series though, as further on a few episodes a character referenced something, only I didn’t remember recently watching what the event they referenced.
Looks like I will have to rewatch the whole lot again sometime!

What was rhe reference?

After watching several further episodes, and then the Christmas special, I actually can’t remember. 🤦🏼‍♀️
I know that as soon as they said it I remembered watching it first time around and I definitely didn’t remember seeing it this time. I did try scrolling back a few episodes to try to jog my memory, but I just gave up in the end.
