Coronation Street - What are they up to now?

Just musing about old characters, the ones who left the street, not the ones killed off (obviously!) and wondered what they would be doing n todays world or what might happen if they came back…

I would love for Karen and Jan to come and visit Fiz and to see Karen’s face when she sees her StevieBabe is now happily married to her one time arch nemesis Tracy.

Candice turns up to be interviewed for the manager at Audrey’s. After travelling with the Quo, she got a job in salon in a place called Hollyoaks, but after a lots of trouble there has decided to return to the quiet of the street.

Martin returns and opens a deli selling nice cheese on Rosamund St with Angela Harris.

Curly pops in for a pint with Kevin on his way to visit his son Ben who now lives in Birmingham.

I'm going down a rabbit hole trying to find the name of the actress who I thought was Des Barnes's wife. It was Amelia Bulmore, not who I thought it was - it's just come to me Gaynor Faye. She was the wife of Gary Mallet, who I'd forgotten about.

I remember watching a scene with Karen back in the day and thought what a good actress she was. She's done alright!

I'd love to see what Raquel is doing now. Commentating on cricket for some digital radio station perhaps.
