I keep forgetting that the quads and Joseph are related to the Dodds family.
They don’t refer to Hope and Ruby as cousins. I’m sure Chesney is the brother of Fizz. Why don’t I know this?

I don't miss Fizz as can't stand the character but the actress has been on maternity leave for far longer than reasonable. So many missing cast members these days. Fizz, Aggie, whatsername Arcraigie's gobby mother. Probably a good few more.

How old are the quads now? Whenever any "quad" noises are heard in the background they always still sound like babies.

The whole show is a joke.

Fizz was in our local Sainsburys a couple of weeks ago, with a baby in a buggy, looking very smiley and happy!

That has reminded me that the other night when Linda said "Who would give a child (or whatever the line was) lavender oil instead of lavender tea" - she put the emphasis on the wrong word.

I thought Chesney's face last night at the end, or going into one of the ad breaks, was like something out of Acorn Antiques.

Yes, SO unlikely someone stressed, depressed and a bit brain dead would mix up lavender oil and lavender tea...

But someone with a supposed fully functional brain, hyper aware her grandchild lives in a tiny over crowded house would be perfectly reasonable to buy a huge fridge freezer without checking whether it'd fit because 'they were just trying to help'...

I watch corrie on my desktop after the live broadcast as it helps to FFW over the gangster, Gemma bits and as I prefer subtitles I notice in the Wednesday episode the Dr was subtitled as Dr Badass - an hilarious slip. It was when she was in either the pub or the cafe (both very unlikely. )

To many plot lines at the moment some unrelated and which are broadcast intermittently

Daisy and Jenny with the pub (and the theft)

Sarah and the gangster
Adam with gangster
Ed and his gambling
Gemma and the quads and Joseph (BTW scriptwriters - Llio is not pronounced Clio/Cleo - consult a welsh speaking person)
The grandmother from hell
The return of Bethany who is never with the endless Platt meetings/arguments
The young hairdresser (friend of Max and the others) who has a dodgy boyfriend
Liam and the bullying
Jake and the 'bunking off'
Carla and the 'factory'
Aadi and Asha and Nina triangle
Tyrone and his family

Put like that its no wonder Im confused 😕 so much angst. It makes me wonder what my own neighbours are up to...
I like the idea of the quads having Welsh names but I can imagine Gemma mangles pronunciation.

This has been bugging me for so long! There are so many easier to pronounce welsh names they could have chosen, why go for on starting with Ll?

Aah - that explains it - I thought it was an incorrect subtitle. Must pay more attention 😌

It is a 'cl' sound but more to it than that
Many non-welsh speakers seem to think it is pronounced as just 'Ll' so I suppose they did try to get it right.

Ah, I'm just a learner, I guess I don't know how to pronounce it either then ☺️
