We started to follow Our Girl back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of Soldier Soldier to keep up our military terminology and have galloped through the three series of of The Musketeers. There was a definite connection between Our Girl and The Musketeers in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. We are currently part way through series 7 of Spooks, having recently witnessed the demise of Adam Carter. He has been replaced by Lucas North.

The writers must have had a crystal ball!

BTW - has anyone made up their mind about Lucas? Is he eye candy like Adam, or what?

There are so many current themes in this series.

Gas lasting a week? There'll be power cuts!

To me he will always be John Thornton from North and South.

A new recruit? Nobody can replace Malcolm surely?

Why does the name Thumper make me think of a James Bond film, sure there was a female called Thumper in one of them.

I am growing to like Lucas but am not seeing him in the same way I appreciated Adam.
