Sooooooooooooooo

22 kids is back. No doubt most have seen what they have been up to via their instagram /Fb pages but they are back for Christmas social and possibly new series

But I haven't seen it all. Know lots of holidays have been had which has annoyed many who can't afford to heat and eat and go for one weekend away

Let alone countless holidays

But let's see what happens in this Christmas special

Not got Discovery plus. We have Amazon Prime plus Netflix. Bit loathe to have 3 streaming services!

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/01/2024 16:17

Ditto. Don't have discovery +

House I think they bought it

But if they did this was filmed a few months ago

Will skuttle to Tatler for a read - they will know

Well let's face it it's obvious they're not going to buy the house.
I will be very very surprised if they ever move out of that house to be honest.

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/01/2024 23:31

Yes sure something will happen and they won't buy it

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/01/2024 23:53

According to Tatler. They are on loose woman tomorow (Tue)

I used to love watching them on Kids and Counting about a decade ago when it was on C4, the series used to feature other families as well if I recall correctly? Why just entirely focussed on the Radfords now? I think it was more interesting to see how the different families functioned.

It used to be them camping or doing a food shop, now they’re constantly getting new stuff or going abroad, very unrelatable to a lot of viewers. Also feels so scripted and staged.

I do think the whole ‘raising 22 kids’ is a bit of stretch to be honest… at least half of them are legally adults now. I do wonder how long it will continue now they’re too old for more babies and their children are growing up.

@Violahastings has the others prob had enough of fame with that programme

Tho be nice to see them 10 yrs later

There was a family with think 7/8 girls

So they will all be adults and possibly parents theirselves

But all the houses from what I R.E.M. were nice and clean

I honestly can't believe out of 21 kids there aren't any that are physically disabled. I know Tilly had issues with her leg.

Up to now one is diagnosed autistic. I suspect Casper and Oscar could be.

I have two kids and one is dyslexic and the other is waiting on a ASD assessment. I'm autistic too and only found out age 35 so I wanted to get mine assessed asap so I could help them.

Surely a couple more must have issues and it's not as though they would keep it private.

Non need braces or glasses either?

luckmewish · 16/01/2024 12:04

I've watched all out daughtered. They have an older sister called Blake. The younger ones are so different. The mums accent annoys me though.

When their programmes were first on I used to wonder how they managed at dr/dentist/optician/orthodontist/speech therapy etc appointments....with so many - baby/toddler/pre school/primary age kids who would likely have to attend even if thr appointment was only for 1 sibling!

The only appointments we ever saw on tv were Sue's ante natal appointments but with that many kids you'd imagine there'd be an appointment for something for someone pretty frequently. (Although probably not allowed/not room for a film crew and 10 radfords in a dentist or Dr surgery)
Unfortunately both my kids have my short sighted gene and wear glasses and now want contact lenses - it's expensive enough to pay for 3 lots of glasses and contacts, I couldn't imagine it for say 5 or 6 (or more) kids!

OlderGlaswegianLivingInDevon · 16/01/2024 15:13

I noticed during Sunday's episode at least one of the children had needed braces - and commented to my dd that they hadn't bothered.

Augustus40 · 16/01/2024 15:17

I recorded Loose Women today and just watched the Radfords interview. It was quite sweet with four of the oldest children in the audience. Even though they are adults now.

Yes Max, Casper and Oscar. I also believe Tillie might be but obviously harder to spot in a girl.

Re the appointments A LOT of them need braces but I guess with that many DC they just don’t bother. Same as with the Opticians, I wonder if any of them have been or if the parents would even notice any were struggling with their eye sight? Probably not.

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/01/2024 16:12

Sad to say I don't think they bother with dentist etx

We go every 9mths aa that's what dentist said

Eyes get tested at school so hopefully if an issue with the radfords they wouis have been told

I assume as mjni blondes gets older she may need glasses as I'm short sighted and dh is long sighted

Both my parents were shortsighted

Agree very unusual in all those kids to have not more issues

Amazed no twins

Also thought they would have tried ivf to get no 23 /twins

Imagine the money for that !!!!

@luckmewish mainly buys seem to have rather then girls

Agree that 3 boys def have adhd /other issues

They mentioned homework on Loose Women. Apparently the teens help the younger ones with studies a lot.
