I would imagine Layton will be in drag and that will be divisive. I'd like to be surprised with two matadors or Nikita being Satine but we'll see.

Nigel Harman and Katya Jones will dance the Charleston to 'Step in Time' from Mary Poppins.
Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola will perform a Quickstep to 'Belle' from Beauty and the Beast.
Annabel Croft and Johannes Radebe will Foxtrot to 'For Good' from Wicked.
Finally, Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin will perform a Paso Doble to 'Backstage Romance' from Moulin Rouge.

Are we having bets then, not one in drag but two this week - is Jojo going to be Elphaba and Annabel Glinda? I know his Hocus Pocus routine went well but two witches foxtrotting??

I bet Hamilton costs a fortune to be allowed to play live outwith the actual cast.

Like many on here, I predicted Layton and Angela in the DO. Giving A a cha cha so late on is a bit mean; it's hardly ever a wow dance. She was OK in it but the choreography seemed to be a lot of her standing about. I thought she did better in the DO, like she just thought 'Fuck it' and gave it laldy. She and Carlos were very touching afterwards; they were obviously genuinely upset.
Layton: isn't it interesting, as soon as he's not scored top by the judges that happens. Clearly people aren't voting for him. Nikita was right to look nervous waiting for the results; he's not stupid and I'd bet he knows full well how it goes with ringers.
Layton hasn't got much better over the series, he just keeps making every dance into something he can do already. Shirley was dead right; it wasn't smooth enough. And the outfits were appalling
I loved Annabel. She's come so far. She and Johannes are just glorious as a partnership.
Nigel I actually liked, and I always slightly dread men's rumbas. Wonderful choreo and I like their partnership.
Bobby: meh. He's sweet, and I'm sorry he lost his mum so young, and his dad seems fantastic. But it was just dull. You need to be a seriously good dancer to pull off contempowaft.
Ellie and Vito were great. Not a trad AT with that song, but I thought they made it work. I agreed with Motsi the story/dynamic was meant to be a challenge between them, so not necessarily intimate in the usual AT way.

Claudia and Vito made me howl with laughter. Claudia was crying laughing. He's so cute.

I'm not bowled over by the Musicals week line-up. Sick of Dirty Dancing. Nigel might be OK if they don't go TOO toe-curlingly Dick van Dyke. I love the song.
Ellie and Vito; I don't know the song but Vito does a good quickstep and she'll be equal to him.
Annabel and Johannes – I don't know the song. I think she'll find it hard to make a foxtrot appeal enough to the audience. This could be her last week.
Layton and Nikita will just be strutting and camping about again.

i like leyton , but wish he wasn't doing dirty dancing. I loved that film and PS.

I hope Booby goes this week. I was angry when Angela r was kept instead of Krish, and feel that way about booby now.

I think Annabel could be in trouble, a foxtrot could be a bit dull compared to the flashier dances the others have got.

Dirty Dancing is one of my favourite films but even I thought ‘what, again?’ when they announced it.

I hope Nigel pulls it off. He can't afford mistakes.

The Wicked song has the line "Because I knew you, I have been changed for good". Maybe that's an indication of Annabel and Johannes friendship? I'd buy into that.

It doesn't matter if Layton ends up in the DO. He will get saved. He is going to be in the final whatever happens.

I really hate the "Nigel Always Makes Mistakes" narrative that we've been fed. He's had clean weeks, yet they're still mentioned. I don't hold out much hope for him surviving this week, but he does have a potentially crowd pleasing dance.
Will it be enough for judges to mark him above an 8?
