Why can't Donna remember the Dr? I never watched it with Catherine Tate cos can't stand her.

I knew the Meep would turn out to be bad, because it was a character in a Doctor Who magazine story many years ago. (which I assume was written by the two people credited on the opening titles) Can’t remember the exact story, but it was pretty much the same plot.

We gave up after 50 minutes after the 'binary, not binary' bit. It was far better before RTD shoehorned his agenda into it.

So disappointed. Storyline pants, acting dire and nothing making me want to tune in next week.

I think the new Rose with the new doctor could work really well, an injection of youth is much needed but the story needs to improve.

Happy to see a diverse cast representation in a story about a time travelling alien but assuming off planet creatures give a crap about pronouns just switched me off. It was an awkward badly filmed interaction that could have been dealt with in a more believable dialogue.

Its actually embarrassing 😳

The wine references were irritating but I will forgive David Tennant almost anything

I like when they include stuff that just is rather than having to be explained ; it makes it more every day

Well, I loved it apart from the pronouns bit. I loved The Doctor and Donna back together. I loved the tribute to Wilf and that he’s still alive in the Whoniverse. I’m really looking forward to the next couple of episodes.

Rose was meant to be 13? 18 I could probably believe but 13? Oh my. I did wander why the random 11 year old over excited arm flapping child sought them out.

Promised so much, delivered so little. DH and I off to watch the original CE, DT and MS reboot series. Just can't be doing with all the woke bollox. It just makes the whole thing a joke and a parody.

The biggest laugh was when Donna said “ Rose can’t act and I don’t know how to tell her” oh the irony …

I had no idea Rose was meant to be 13, I assumed about 20, so when they said it was 15 years since Donna had seen The Doctor I was confused. There was no portrayal of a teenager at all.

I vaguely remember the Meep in a comic, so not surprised about the villainy.

Loved the Doctor Donna resolution, MM as the Meep and most of the episode but, oh gods, still with the wokeism and the heavy handed trans agenda.

I saw the very first Dr Who, and all the others, basically have been a lifelong fan.
I used to get very annoyed at the screamer role allocated to the female companions but remained watching in spite of that, and it got better.
So perhaps I can stick with it, depends on how Ncuti presents, I guess..

Didn't like the meap, very Phineas and Ferb and the words to unlock Donna were Winter Soldier. My 13yr old DD was not convinced that Rose was supposed to be 13 but we will watch them because it's DT and Donna.
