Score watched Holger's match earlier- the first set was straightforward, looked like they could be heading for a 3rd when they went to a tie break in the second. Safely through though.
Grigor is now playing Rinky, and Rafa is due to play JordanTache at around 10am (uk time).
Started very well for Grigor.
Must admit, I'm a bit nervous about Rafa's match today. Though it will be interesting- usually the crowd would be behind Jordan as the home player- but I think Rafa will probably have the bulk of the support.

Just having a sneaky watch of Rafa (I’m supposed to be WFH) - he’s looking good so far I think

The winner of this match plays Grigor tomorrow?

I wonder why Jordan grew his tache back? He looked so different without it!

I had a horrid thought in the middle of the night - if Rafa is unseeded at the AO open what if he meets Djok in the first round?

I watched some of Victoria and Jelena last night. They had a set apiece and then after an ad break Sky put the Coco match which was just starting on without so much as a by your leave. So annoying!

I have been out and expected to miss most of this live so surprised to find I've not missed all of it. Though I'd prefer Rafa winning in quick straight sets, obviously!

To be fair, he's had some petty quick matches this week, but he hasn't been pushed as much as this.

Dodgy boxes are always a minute behind Fizzy

He won't be allowed to for get will he? But where was Djok recently where he disappeared for well about 10 minutes at the end of the set? Don't remember so much fuss- or any- then.

It's annoying that this is all they will talk about now, whenever he plays.

They’re getting a big obsessed about the time - has the umpire sent someone to bang on the toilet door? Poor Rafa! Djok just does what he wants - like when he did a runner at the French Open

They always get obsessed by the loo breaks- but it very much depends on who is playing. Common sense goes out of the window. Jordan is drenched- do they really think Rafa will care if Thompson goes off court for a second time (against the rules)- and they spend a bit longer sorting themselves out?

It must be uncomfortable playing in wet clothes

Five minutes is not long to get off the court, get changed, maybe have a wee or whatever

Rafa doesn’t like to be rushed

In some tournaments, the locker room is a fair distance from the court- somewhere like Cincy, I think. That's possibly where tef first fell foul of the rules.
