At 8pm I was in DC room as they tried to get to sleep having done whole dinner bed routine. I signed into my account getting ready to give Annabel all my votes only to discover it was all over!! That’s second week in row I’ve missed the voting window Arrgg. I need to pay more attention to when it’s airing live as I always watch on catch up. Bit annoyed as she’d definitely have been deserving of my votes too as I liked her Samba. Not an easy dance and she’s not the type to naturally let loose so she did amazing.
I loved Ellie too. She’s just so bubbly and friendly and is doing great dances. Outfit was perfect too.
AngelaS I personally still go between finding her ott fake (look at the vote lines open bit last night) and feeling bad for her as she’s getting quite a lot of bad critiques and dealing with it very well which I admire. She’s a bit forgettable dance wise.
Nigel is also forgettable. I mean he shouldn’t be but he is. Maybe as he’s relatively quite personality wise. His CC wee bit underwhelming I always feel he should have more to give.
Bobby was quite decent but I still don’t like watching them. He’s too tall her Dianne and I’ve never cared for her. The hair flicking was odd as was the fast run up the stairs.
Krishnan is joyous but he’s definitely reached his limits. Don’t think is trousers helped!!
Layton I really enjoyed that. Lots of leaps and things that looked his style still but I don’t know what can be done in an AT so assume it fitted in. He’s coming across very well in the claudatorium and seems to have settled down. Of course he’s a ringer so will never get my vote but I also want to see him right through to the final and his show dance will be spectacular. So long as he doesn’t win I’m really enjoying him.
Angela R just go already! I would admire her dancing at her age lots more if I didn’t have this horrible sense of superiority fizzling out of her constantly. She clearly things she is very very good and amazing and deserves to be there. Her face last week was a picture both at the judges less favourable comments and the red light. Her trying to explain that away on ITT was cringeworthy. Her paso wasnt awful but lacked the power it should have inthough. And Kai did all the skirtograohy for her!! Plus the leg is boring. It’s good she can do it and the concept of using her at the clock hands was interesting but she just stands whilst Kai does all the shifting her to right places. Odd. And her scores are massively inflated. Ellie and her both receiving an 8 is madness.
I can’t call it really. I want Angela R to go as feel overmarked. For the final I want a Ellie and Layton in it and my wish would be for Annabel but I don’t think she will get there. The others are all much of a much to me currently so will be interesting to see who goes over the next few weeks. I think I’ll need to start voting for Ellie too as this is the stage where the top end can end up in DO anyway isn’t it?
