I was in a big john lewis on sunday and it was HEAVING. Like it would on Christmas Eve. They still didn’t have any of the three things in stock I went for, and no one to help either.

I do feel a bit sorry for all the Venus flytraps that will be dead by end Feb though! I hope the are sold with care instructions.

I love it.... the music not so much

The music is very jarring , but I was listening to the ad on my phone so maybe it
sounds better on the big screen.
JL are getting a new CEO next year, I hope they sort out the customer service problems they have as it sounds as if that's taken a bashing ( like everywhere else)

I don't think Venus fly traps are ugly, I didn't think the house was ugly. The music I agree with was weird. Why is it a problem that the child was Caucasian?

I believe white people are not supposed to appear unaccompanied in TV or print now.

I can't help thinking that someone at John Lewis ordered Venus fly trap plushies by mistake and the advert was just a way to sell them. I saw them in Waitrose before I saw the advert and the display was so weird without the context, with the context it comes across as a money grab.
