I loved the four hunger games films but just heard there is a new one coming out soon with brand new actors. I wonder if it will be any good or as good as the previous ones.

Ooh I was excited until you said there will be new actors.
I'll give it a go though, thanks for the heads-up!

The new film is for the prequel The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. As far as I know there’s only one character in common and so there will have to be different actors.

I saw the trailer for this in the cinema.

I only recognised Caeser Flickerman from the ad.

The film looked ok.

But I don't think the films live up to the books. The books are excellent.

It’s the prequel. It’s about Snow as a young man

I’m looking forward to watching this. I have just watched all the other Hunger Games film again. The new film is a prequel.

The film is now out and I went to see it this evening. What a load of rubbish. It is nothing like the 4 previous films. Boring story with no action and actors that I had never heard of or seen before. I prefer films with well known established actors. In the 4 prevous hunger games movies you had Jennifer Lawrence and Donald English both of whom are well known established actors. The film was so boring i walked out after 40 minutes and the cinema was freezing.

Do not waste your time and money on this film

The books weren't all excellent. The first one was. It wasn't meant to be a trilogy. I think it was the third one I found unreadable

Just seen this at the cinema parts one and two were good but they dragged it out with part three film went on longer then it should have

Flute56 · 17/11/2023 21:08

sorry it was Donald Sutherland not Donald English
