MAFSUK - thread 9 This matchmaking lark is quite tricky. When some are decidedly picky. They’ll meet for a blether, and then get together, but only because they’re so sticky.

The show might have lost its appeal
For some that won’t be a big deal
It may just be snark
But they have jumped the shark
With the return of one I and P Beale.

And nip flashing peg? Brace yersel.

Jordan is such a decent young man. All power to him. He’s the only one saying what we are all thinking!

I also think apologies need to be made without the guarantee they will be accepted.

Of course. But they were petty and pleased with themselves, despite Luke showing remorse and humility. Not people I’d want in my orbit.

I thought it was Ella winding them up not the other way round and as for Tasha we don't even know what her problem with Erica was

Luke is probably way worse off camera. I hope Jay gets away from him.

MouseMinge · 30/10/2023 23:32

Luke. Oh, Luke. You make me want to puke.

He's good at the gaslighting though because I had to think about what he'd said when it was all boys together to see if he had really meant that she wasn't a walkover and ... but good work Luke, but nope, you said what you said and you were a total wanker about it. I'm just gutted that Jay has fallen for it but, as already said, she only needs to go home and she'll never have to see him again because he can't do travelling. Also, if he was a bit iffy because of high blood pressure, given his drinking he'll be dead before too long, so there's that.

I'm annoyed that it was all placed at the feet of Jordan and Erica because all the boys thought he was out of order. All of them. Thomas was the only one at the dinner party who said as much but the script has been rewritten so that, yet again, it's all on Erica and Jordan. I love that Jordan didn't accept his apology but I wish he'd pointed out that the "tussling" was started by Luke, that he was trying to get him out/off him. I don't blame Erica for crying at all. That shitstorm would have really upset me as well. It was violence. Luke brought violence to their front door. Of course Puritan Barbie thinks that's about love. She probably thinks it was love if Luke gave Jay a slap as well because she is a pathetic waste of space.

In other news, Sean looks like he's done in. It's a good job that he wasn't in from the beginning because he'd probably have had a total breakdown before now. I've warmed to Mark but it must be hard work being around someone so needy all the time while at the same time you're trying to figure out if you have feelings for them or not.

That's my take on the lack of any real drama that is MAFSUK tonight.

MouseMinge · 30/10/2023 23:34

@SheldonesqueTheBstard I'm okay. I'm just waiting on news/dates for the start of a treatment thing and while I'm mostly okay about it my subconscious is clearly a little less okay about it, ergo I keep forgetting really important things like "MAFSUK is on, you twat, stop watching some shit about organised crime gangs!

I feel sad for Jay. She’s so starved of positive relationships, allegedly because of her arm, that she’s blinded by Luke because he’s shown her so much attention and says he’s falling for her. Be interesting to see if he sticks around away from the cameras.

And he cares so much about her that he goes around beating people up. What girl wouldn’t be flattered by that?

She went down in my estimation tonight. He was already off the radar.

Ramalangadingdong · 30/10/2023 23:40

Sorry, what? I think they’ve got his number. He thought he could apologise and get back in the show. He wasn’t sorry in the least. Like most abusive people he is a great big coward, picking on whoever he deems to be the weakest. Can’t stand him.

Team Jerica!

JaneJeffer · 30/10/2023 23:03

I wonder whether he cheated or something. He is acting like someone wracked with guilt.

Who would he have cheated with? Ella? Would that make him bi or…what?

Maybe he cheated with JJ?

Ramalangadingdong · 30/10/2023 23:47

JaneJeffer · 30/10/2023 22:24

The experts are a disgrace

The producers…I’m losing the will to live.

(I just corrected the autocorrect which wrote willy instead of will. Perhaps willy is more appropriate).

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 30/10/2023 23:48

I come here to forget about things @MouseMinge

I won’t pretend that I know your worries but I’ll happily chat pish on here to make you forget about Ross and his crime gangs and that.

The only crime here is that my arse looks like Ross Kemp And John Sargent had twins.

Sean could have been off shagging a different man every night for all we've seen of him and Mark! Pity they don't have some plastic tits to help them get more air time. They could get one each.

The way he hammered on the door. Where were the producers then?? They wanted agro.

One lot was filming inside, and the other was filming in the corridor

The great thing is that he won't go to see her. She would have to go to see him. Hopefully her sister will put a stop to that.

MouseMinge · 31/10/2023 00:04

I come here to forget about things too, Sheldon, and for the shits and giggles.

SweetBirdsong · 31/10/2023 00:16

AtlasPine · 30/10/2023 22:44

I still find shit-stirring Jordan and Erica so hard to like, even though I agree Luke is entirely responsible for his own actions and needed to be removed.

I agree. I loathe Jordan and Erica - and find them so unpleasant and sneaky. She always has such a snarky, eye-rolling look on her face, and he is a worse shit stirrer than her. (And she is bad enough!) Shocked at the support for them on this thread to be honest.

That said, Luke's behaviour was abhorrent. Not going to make any excuses for him.

BaronessEllarawrosaurus · 31/10/2023 00:19

Would i be right in thinking Luke didn't actually apologise for attacking Jordan and actually implied Jordan attacked him but he understood he drove Jordan to it by walking in the room. It could have just been my interpretation but it very much sounded like a variation of you made me do it.

Paul2023 · 31/10/2023 00:30

Just catching up. Why’s Peggy so concerned about what other people think about Georges?
She said “ I’ve never been with anyone that nobody likes”. Is it a popularity contest then?

Paul2023 · 31/10/2023 00:39

Again I haven’t caught up. But red flags should be waving in front of Jay now. This wasn’t a knee jerk reaction from Luke. He wound himself up and then assaulted Jordan. Because it was common assault at the very least. The police could actually investigate this .

Luke is one of those people you see outside a kebab shop at 2am on a Saturday night , being mouthy and trying to start a fight.

He’s got a temper and potentially dangerous to a partner. Jay needs to leave. Like right now

squirrelslikenuts · 31/10/2023 00:42

Presumably, that's why Luke wouldn't want to move for the relationship, he needs his mates around to condone his behaviour. It is clear, he cares for Jay, but not enough to grow up and stop playing the lad.

Paul2023 · 31/10/2023 01:00

Anyone else see Ella mouthed good girl or something similar, when Peggy chose leave ?

Ella isn’t exactly perfect herself.

Georges is a bit of a knob but I don’t think he deserves Peggy ! That’s not a compliment for Peggy by the way !
