Things being taken out of context
Not enough food being actually eaten (again, I'd be swiping desserts..)
"Experts" (we now know how lose a term that is!) pretending they didn't know what shit had gone down

As time has passed I'm realising that I'm even more pissed off that they let the cheating couple back onto the show. It goes against everything the show is supposed to be about.

For me, the idea of the show is based around two ideas. One, that initial attraction is a bad way of choosing a life partner, and so having someone else choose a partner for you for different reasons might work better. Two, that there is a power in commitment, such that marrying, or even "marrying", a stranger makes it easier for a couple to overcome together difficulties that they encounter.

But the cheating couple have chosen each other, and they have demonstrated most clearly that they are unable to make a commitment to anything or anyone. So why would you do that?

I think both of those ideas are actually really interesting, but having the cheating couple trample their way through the show is one giant f* you to both of them.

I love that Amanda Lear track. I remember AL being mentioned in the music press in the late 70s/early 80s but didn't really know who she was. But had to Shazam that advert because it sounds so good.

I think MAFS UK needs a massive shake up, it should just be 5 couples featuring normal people and the shrinks should be Orna and two other actual psychologists.

This MAFS has been really bad in part due to the shitty low quality experts. I particularly hate the camp "exchanged winks" the two females do to each other when Ella walks into the dinner party episodes
