MAFSUK thread 8. Surprise Surprise. Only it isn’t. It is Only a Connection with a pair of New Faces. We’ve had The Chase. He looks Blankety Blank. It seems Pointless. One will give the other the Runaround. Then we’ll get a total wipeout.

Imagine working with Erica though there is something smug about her and in your face not saying she should be demure but her dancing hand gestures and the face movement it would annoy …

43ontherocksporfavor · 26/10/2023 23:23

She does have a few dodgy expressions. But what she actually says , I agree with. Erica that is.

MelsMoneyTree · 26/10/2023 23:24

Was Jordan raised by women? I can't remember his backstory but he has the emotional maturity of someone with strong, female role models.

Sumthingsweet · 26/10/2023 23:24

Do you think though that this jealousy thing real ?

women do see other attractive women as a threat .. not saying I’m a supermodel but when your young and attractive and your v confident people well other women are both fascinated and angry at that just saying .. as you get older you develop more emotioñsl maturity and don’t just judge on that so you mellow we will all get old one day and beauty is not forever ..

Sumthingsweet · 26/10/2023 23:26

There a girl at work looks like a complete doll in her twenties and the men swarm around her she dresses v well and seems to get peoples backs up .. get to know her and she’s lovely

more substance to your own self isn’t there than just appearance or we should realize that as we get older

Sumthingsweet · 26/10/2023 23:29

It’s called scarce resource syndrome where it gos back to fertility if men find other women attractive and tap into them it diminishes what’s left for you

v interesting could be a load of shit but just remembered it

@MelsMoneyTree ha at the Bet Lynch comment , too true. Ella's behaviour is so masculine and they don't seem to see that at all. They being singular for Ella, not the group, although that applies too.

murasaki · 26/10/2023 23:38

Ella dresses like a 14 year old boy is in charge of the wardrobe. Oh....

MouseMinge · 26/10/2023 23:41

When I was younger some insecure women took against me because they thought that their men wanted me/I would steal their men. I'm not even that good looking so it always confused me. I think there are just some women who are threatened by other women who they think have something that they don't. With me I guess it was that I'm funny and I appeared confident and up for fun - not in that way. I realised, eventually, that it had nothing to do with me and everything to do with them. I think that's part of what's going on with both Jordan and Erica which is not to say that they're not annoying at times but they're not guilty (or no more guilty than all the others) of half the things that are being thrown at them and the experts are being particularly cunty by joining in with it.

@Sumthingsweet my best mate , when I first met her was like that, all heels, good hair and fitted dresses. She was boss of the construction team and felt it gave her power. I was dubious of of her, with my jeans and docs, but we got on working in a job in my dept together and 15 years later, are best mates. She's helped me dress better when needed, I've seen her in pj's with her hair like a hedgehog, we both learned not to judge so much, or to keep it quiet!

MouseMinge · 26/10/2023 23:45

Re Jordan's hair. Maybe he's like an emotionally strong Samson and his hair is what brings him that strength, cut it to something approaching a decent style and he turns into a knuckle dragger like the other blokes there.

murasaki · 26/10/2023 23:46

Apparently she was scared of my confidence in that I appeared not to give a shit about what I wore. I did. I was scared of hers. We laugh about it now.

murasaki · 26/10/2023 23:48

I'm a villa fan, so still see junior grealish with Jordan, amd just want to give him a hug. He is speaking sense though, amd I don't see why he's getting picked on so much.

The one I really don't get now is Paul. How is he not seeing what a nasty person tasha is?

It’s that age old question how does that women make you feel about yourself ?

you look shit feel shit then in walks someone who looks and seems to have all their shit together it really cuts sometimes that

but of all the women I’ve met I have learnt that what someone said above is true - don’t judge just because Someone looks the part snd acts it does not mean you know their story

I truly feel if we as women can get part that hurdle we can have really meaningful friendships but I guess it’s natural to compare even into adulthood who has better house looks good for age etc but now I just think damn good for you snd hope I’m afforded the same generosity of removing ego

it’s not easy woman to woman but Deffo about growth

god I sound like lizard man and his universe lol

No, not lizard man!

But I agree, if the differences work, you can have a strong friendship. We have v different upbringing and perspectives so bring different things to the table, amd we both need that table. Works well, but if you'd said to me at the beginning that it would be like that I'd have laughed in your face. I'm closer to her than to my sisters.

Yes, raised by single mum and also close to his sister.

murasaki · 26/10/2023 23:59

Tasha has not shown Christian values, as said before, but I may have missed it, did we not see their in laws episode? Paul's mum would not have digged

von1471 · 27/10/2023 00:03

Have you noticed when JJ and Ella go in for a quick kiss she has her mouth open, as if she’s going to eat him 😖?

Sumthingsweet · 27/10/2023 00:05

Pretty sure there is someone out there that would be very grateful to have what we don’t value

looks figure humour intelligence but your blessings are so many and what you were given in life so why argue

if it’s about confidence looks etc can just make best of self and be fully secure when walking into any room full of women even if they are supermodels - no need to give in to that insecurity we are cleverer that that
