I'm wondering why I really do not like Luke? I think because I've met his type before. He reminds me of the 80s Professional Northerner comedians, loud mouths who make a living out of being confrontational. I don't mind Jay, but as someone else said she is being shadowed.

I feel like Luke is like the boyfriend you know is on the rebound . Or like watching an ex in a new relationship, trying just a bit too hard to maintain the facade of everything being hunkydory and sooo much better. But he can’t maintain it.

I don't find Luke attractive in any way. He's got a high opinion of himself.

Weds The couples head off for a country retreat (they're away a lot aren't they!)
Thurs On the second day of the couples' retreat, the group reunite for a dinner party

So basically Thursday is the kick off then...

I’ll see it out as I am a bit of a contrary tit but they have ruined this programme.

The trouble is, the viewing figures for Thursday were probably quite high and I'm sure social media was aflame as a result. This will just encourage the producers to create more of the same next year - 3 days of tedium and 1 day of meltdown.
