Peggy is just frigid, and I fucking hate that word because men would always call me a frigid whore when I refused to such their dicks after only knowing them for 5 seconds. Right at the start you see Ella looking through old photos, and there’s one of herself in there post-transition but pre-all the ridiculous plastic surgery. She was quite pretty. I think, had she stopped there, she’d have attention from men albeit there will always be a much reduced pool of men willing to date a trans woman. However, the way she looks now will always attract the fetishists rather than anyone seeking a genuine relationship. It’s sad. I understand gender dysphoria, but for me this goes way beyond that and is some type of body dysmorphia and she needs therapy.

Yes I feel like either peggy is very prudish or is put off by something she doesn't want to discuss so is fixating on the squatting thing. It's not exactly heroic but I don't see it as genuine sexual exhibitionism either. It could be a combination of reasons not to trust Georges. I would be put off by a regular strip club attender so that sounds likely. Could be that she's keeping Ella out of that.

She's quite a strong character and if she genuinely just wants to move at a slow pace, I think could voice that.
