Glasses since 8 and 40 years of contacts as an adult. I can’t imagine life without the contacts.

Team reluctant specs here. Contacts not such a great option for me now I need varifocals

I've had glasses from being a child- and had contacts from 14- but got a really bad infection when I was in my 30s. I have only worn glasses for the last 15 plus years. It helps glasses have improved a lot since nhs specs in the early 80s .

Yes, I’m just getting to that stage. But I’m not giving up my contacts.

I'm hoping that when I get my cataracts done, I can pay for flash lenses and reduce the need for glasses. There has to be some benefit to getting older!

Good progress Al. I read about a UK GP who works remotely from Greece, comes over once a month but does all the consults for her practice that can be done remotely. Al should be able to cope with a patient a day.

It’s a pity that woman is Al’s therapist in the sense that I think she’d suit him as a love interest
