Is the answer you seek "designer vagina" @bunnibee? If so yes.

Hold on...is it 'designer vagina' or is it 'design a vagina'?

usernother · 20/10/2023 12:11

@RobynRB Fair enough, we all have our preferences - even if some are more socially acceptable than others. It seems perfectly okay to say you don't fancy short men, but if you say you don't fancy black/non-white men/women then you are racist and if you don't fancy trans men/women then you're a homophobe. It seems a bit odd to dismiss a whole group of men based solely on something they literally have no control over, unlike say weight or other appearance choices.

I know. I agree. But I've never met a man smaller than me that I find attractive. I'm presuming a lot of women feel the same which is why 'tall' is given as a 'want' on MAFS.

He reminds me of the little man from a very old programme called"Fantasy Island"

sorry just read through comments and realised everyone else does too lol didn't realise his name was tattoo

JaneJeffer · 20/10/2023 12:12

The more it goes on the worse Ella is coming across.

I don't know why Nathaniel needed to go on MAFS to find someone anyway. I'm sure he regrets his decision.

Tontostitis · 20/10/2023 12:15

I think Nathaniel was probably approached once they'd got Ella and possibly JJ too as very few men find transwomen attractive. All the transwomen i know are in relationships with women so I do have anecdotal experience to back that up as its quite a sweeping statement.

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 20/10/2023 12:28

MrsElijahMikaelson1 · 20/10/2023 08:09

I think that JJ is just intrigued about what a trans woman who’s had the surgery with the “best fanny in the world” looks like and he goes for artificial enhancement.
I’d be devastated if I were Bianca.

Not as devastated as JJ is probably going to be when he realises that neo is maybe neot as good as the mark1 version…

JJ is one of those men who is incredibly average looking but thinks he's an absolute prize stud....he basically thought Bianca wasn't good looking enough for him. She's actually a gorgeous girl but she's a real, genuine person..she doesn't look like some ai created sex robot.

squirrelslikenuts · 20/10/2023 12:41

Mills and Boon has led many of us up the garden path as to what is the so-called perfect partner. Being tall in a man is a often desirable trait, but will/should not be the only marker in attraction.

However, I think physically we seek a partner who complements us. E.g. I'm quite short, need a tall partner, so my children will be taller. Whereas, a tall person might be seeking an equally tall person, so they feel on the same level, and not have to wear flat shoes.
On the other hand, 2 short people maybe attracted to each other, cos' they understand how it feels to be smaller, and are a better team.

I'm sure they do. But why is it acceptable for the women to openly criticise their grooms if they are shorter than they'd like? And why was Nathaniel expected to work at overcoming his disappointment that he wasn't given what he 'asked for'?

Why do your children need to be taller though? So they are more attractive... the cycle perpetuates itself.

It's kind of refreshing to see a deluded average looking man thinking he's a 'King' though...

squirrelslikenuts · 20/10/2023 13:04

Because, as a short woman of 5'1, I have grown up being overlooked, under-estimated and that affects self-esteem. Although, you make the best of who/what you are it doesn't stop you have dreams of better for your children.

I have been out with short men, a few feet taller. But, maybe Mills and Boon got to me. Maybe, the reality of my Dad, who was about 5'4 being a frustrated, capable person, who felt overlooked in his career, and angry as a result, turned me off shorter men.

Besides, I like the idea of being protected by a taller partner. Even so, I have learnt over the years to stand up for myself, and face off more intimidating people, whatever their height.

why do black women think they are owed a free pass for being overweight?

Sorry what does her being black have to do with her confidence with her weight?

It seems to be a thing. Surely you can't have missed it. Like Lizzo, being a queen and all that. I would love to see a grossly overweight white woman acting like that on MAFS - I don't think this place would be whooping and cheering her on somehow...

2 examples - kasia and lizzo - that's your data sample for black women?
This is seriously discriminatory. You've made a very sweeping assumption/generalisation about black women. Who is whooping and cheering Kasia or Lizzo on here and how is Lizzo relevant to Mafs?

Is porscha overweight? Is Whitney overweight?

TemporarilyshyAF · 20/10/2023 13:12

I think Nathanial should have backed out when it was made clear he was being offered someone to slot into their narrative. However hindsight is grand.

He's been nothing but decent, mature and insightful to Ella. As he said, her life has been consumed by her 'trans journey'- substantial surgeries only one part of it, now she is desperate for acceptance and affirmation in quite unhelpful ways, via sex. She is in no way a rounded person ready for marriage. He's a mid 30s man who has presumably been through his own coming out process and seems to want someone stable with more to talk about than that.

No way would he have been right to give Ella the physical gratification she wanted and I'm glad he realised that.

JJ annoys me in that he keeps going 'my ex was a VS model' in that raised eyebrow, 'top that' way. Apparently she wasn't, not as in the catwalk supermodel sense that people would infer- naturally stunning, incredible bone structure etc. He means some lass with implanted bits who did some catalogue work or something. Bianca could do all that if she wanted to. Doesn't make her inferior (not saying she is inferior to a supermodel).

Can't quite express what I mean just that JJ seems to have stretched the expectation somewhat at Biancas expense. No disrespect to anyone. It's not that anyone is innately better, but there are beauty standards.

Ffsnotaconference · 20/10/2023 13:15

I think Nathaniel’s pov is that the show pressures him. That if he didn’t agree the trans woman they set him up with wouldn’t ‘get a chance to tell their story’

His interviewed seemed to say they guilted him into it, for Ella’s benefit.

Peachonthebeach · 20/10/2023 13:22

I don’t think Nathaniel has been that cool. He was pretty horrible to Ella at first and I’m no Ella fan . I think he tried to shame her for being a stripper to make up for his discomfort at her being trans. It was probably scripted, as in ‘ooh you can’t say it’s this, say it’s that’.

What a load of crap! I’m 5’1 and a senior manager in a male dominated industry, my boss is a 5’ woman in a C-level role. Half the mostly male board at my company are 5’8 or shorter, it clearly hasn’t hampered their careers! Height is not why people are being overlooked for promotion in 99.9% of cases 😂.

I couldn’t give a shiny shit whether my kids are tall or not tbh, there are plenty of tall men who are fuck ugly/lacking in other ways - most people have some sort of “flaw” they have to just make the best of, that’s just life.

Oh and as for “protection”, I know plenty of tall blokes who are complete lanky larries and couldn’t “protect” a puppy given how completely lacking in common sense they are. In this day and age the likelihood of you being involved in a physical confrontation with another man in front of your partner is incredibly small. Surely “protection” is actually about making sure you have a safe, loving environment and not treating you like shit, none of which is dependant on height.

Edited

Seriously. I am not generalizing about all black women. But you can't seriously tell me that you haven't noticed that overweight black women being considered 'sexy' is a thing. It seems to be cultural, at least by the episodes of Bridezillas I watched (granted perhaps not a significant or reasonable sample) - skinny black guys marrying fat black women over and over again. And then there's Megan Thee Stallion and the other one in that WAP video.

RobynRB · 20/10/2023 13:33

It didn't occur to me that Porscha might be overweight, probably because she didn't wear skintight leggings and shove her arse in Terrence's face every five minutes. Porscha had too much class... and there's a sentence that sticks in the throat.

RobynRB · 20/10/2023 13:36

Okay, so I Googled Whitney because somehow I had forgotten about her... clearly she is not overweight and irrelevant to my point. But you brought her up because she is black, therefore implying that I was being racist. Nice.

RobynRB · 20/10/2023 13:38

Having Googled Porscha it's clear she isn't overweight, so again.... irrelavent.

Floofydawg · 20/10/2023 13:39

How the hell are people arguing on a MAFS thread?!

Anyway, can we talk about JJ's outfit at the dinner party - did he go as Mr Whippy?
