Im surprised there isnt a direct tram to the hotel.

thenightsky · 02/11/2023 10:05

When Daisy was on the phone to Daniel, she quickly ran into the bathroom and shut the door so he wouldn't hear that background voice of someone saying 'shall we order more drinks'. Who was that? I thought Ryan had gone back home as we saw him in the Bistro talking to Daniel. I'm very confused or is Daisy shagging a third person in the hotel?

You'd think so. Ryan wouldn't use a taxi on a whim. But the writers needed a (lazy) way to let Daniel know where he was going, so...
Yet another example of the heavily overused "overhearing" device. 🤔🙄

eggandonion · 02/11/2023 10:11

I thought there were people in the corridor who were chatting. Daniel and Bertie dont deserve this. And Ryan needs to go and visit his mum and meet a nice Irish girl...who will have some ulterior motives.

Hellendegenerate · 02/11/2023 12:53

It's a ticking time bomb because Debbie knows and Jenny knows and Lauren knows. Daniel also knows Daisy lied about visiting her mother.

Ha!! Auto correct put Easy when I typed Daisy! 😁

NCTDN · 02/11/2023 15:25

Why didn't Daisy just say her and her mum were in a bar?!

I think the maid said she'd come to turn the sheets down

CyanCrystalViolet · 02/11/2023 16:20

Do hotel maids turn sheets down in the evening? It's a while since I've stayed in a hotel.

eggandonion · 02/11/2023 17:39

I don't think I have ever had my sheets turned down. My son stayed somewhere super posh just after lockdown (when hotels ran special offers) . He was very confused by someone turning up to turn down and give him chocolate.
Debbie obviously runs a fancy establishment. And can get handymen via taxi.

bizzey · 03/11/2023 15:50

If it was such a posh ,swanky hotel you would need a key card to to get anywhere near the rooms .

Even the Premier Inn is like Fort Knox trying to get to your room
when you have nipped down to bar but left your key card in the electric switch thing !!

strugglingwithlife · 03/11/2023 20:04

So has this Courtney left for good then? Hope so. Can't stand her

Exactly. Daniel wouldn't get into the corridors without a keycard.

How would Sam and Eliza have time to meet for breakfast before school? Most teens fall out of bed 5 minutes before they have to leave for school.

strugglingwithlife · 03/11/2023 20:32

I guess not. Shame

Neverinamonthofsundays · 03/11/2023 20:46

Im more wondering why Daisy couldnt have had a phonecall with her mother and stayed in the hotel room a bit longer. Leaving a hotel early is sinful.

Getupat8amnow · 03/11/2023 21:17

Goodness me, Corrie is dire. The Stu and Eliza storyline is beyond boring. Everything is in isolation, there is no sense of community - lives intertwined by living on the same street. It’s a real shame.

Totally agree
Dull as fuck
I care not one jot about Daisy and Daniel
It's over already if she's lying and shagging other men
Stu -bore off
Yasmeen-ditto
Aadi and hot lips-go away
whatever her name is sneaking around listening is like Stephen Mark 2
Tim's maggots -shoot me

FeltCarrot · 04/11/2023 08:59

Agree. There are hardly any characters I care about anymore. I love watching Rita, Audrey Ken and Deirdre in Classic Corrie but they need to retire them all off now.
As for the young cast, Amy can stay, the rest can go.

CyanCrystalViolet · 04/11/2023 11:38

I thought Daisy stayed at the Charriot Hotel. Where did she get the invoice from the Grand? Or did she forge it beforehand?

Urgh he's so damn irritating.

bizzey · 04/11/2023 11:56

She left the Chariot Hotel and booked into the Grand as she knew Daniel would be suspicious so knew she would need a receipt.

£90. just to cover up her deciet !

Thank you. I wondered that too.

Totally!

Ellenanora7 · 05/11/2023 19:18

Daisy owes Daniel £300 for a shopping spree from last week or week before, he hasn't mentioned it since, and why does Daisy have no money, she had a job and lived rent free for ages, mind you I constantly wonder this about Sean too.

Oh and can I mention the god awful acting from Dylan's hardman act friend, bloody brutal 🤦

Neverinamonthofsundays · 06/11/2023 20:03

Would sean be better off just working at the factory and applying for UC? you never hear of anyone in this soap on benefits.
