Was the Halloween party meant to be held in the middle of the day? The scenes were mixed with Steve and Tim fishing in broad daylight and it’s going dark here now by 4.30.

I liked the inventive use of a fishing lure as a prop for Tims 'tiddler'.

Every time there's a party or a celebration meal, or a special date, it's always during the day! They don't seem to be able to film at night!

Why is Steve suddenly saying he’s got marital issues that have been going on for sometime? There has been no hint of that as far as I can recall, mind you I can’t remember the last time Tracey and Steve have been in a scene together, there are a lot of missing spouses in Corrie, Eileen is never seen with George, Tracey and Steve are never together, The builder with the missing wife who used to be Mrs Temby in doctors (can’t even remember her characters name it’s been so long) I’m sure there is more.

Weatherfield seems to have its own time zone where it’s permanently light, back in the good old days on Classic episodes have a morning, afternoon and an evening, the days had proper structure which reflected real life, in Classic today Roy and Hayley were having breakfast, Deirdre was doing the ironing, Fred was cooking a roast dinner, it’s rare to see normal day to day stuff now in Corrie, I miss the old charm.

I'm watching benidorm right now and it's hilarious seeing George as Kenneth. He has lost a load of weight though.

Those fishing scenes with Tim and Steve were really well-written for once.
