Just that really - what else can I watch that's along the lines of 'Sort Your Life Out' ? I absolutely LOVE it!

I've started decluttering myself at home too 🙌

I have Netflix, Prime and iPlayer....

Thanks!

Marie Kondo (Netflix I think)

curlyrebel · 09/10/2023 22:18

Queer Eye! Also Netflix

OneJumpAhead · 09/10/2023 22:19

The home edit

holidayisthebestday · 09/10/2023 22:22

Nick Knowles big house clear out is pretty much the same thing. Think it's available on Sky.

FlannelandPuce · 09/10/2023 22:23

Big house clear out with Nick Knowles on channel 5. It's a bit more low key but exactly the same format.

I still miss Life Laundry Sad

Time40 · 09/10/2023 22:29

There are a couple of episodes of Life Laundry on YouTube .... oh, bother you, OP - I'm going to have to watch one now! 😂

ElizaWinter · 09/10/2023 22:32

I will miss it too but on a more cheerful note a new series of Ghosts has just landed! (IPlayer)

ElizaWinter · 09/10/2023 22:33

Sorry not housekeeping related I know but worthy of a mention I thought!

Whatsgoingon12345 · 09/10/2023 22:36

Ghosts! Yay best Telly In The World.
tho house inspired definitely sounds good too.

nettie434 · 09/10/2023 22:43

How about Clean it, Fix it?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0011fgl

It's on BBC. The format is that a builder, cleaner and carpenter visit a house where things are a bit out of hand and they do minor repairs and rearrange things.

BBC One - Clean It, Fix It

A team of cleaners and DIY experts help a household fall back in love with their home.

Excellent, and it has 3 series. I'll start here!

Not enough pro Tat / pro hoarding TV shows on media. Being shamed for being shabby is the last acceptable form of persecution.

VintedoreBay · 04/04/2024 19:39

I thoroughly enjoyed Nick Knowles Big House Clear Out and also The Home Edit 👌

Couldn't really get into Marie Kondo!

Definitely Marie Kondo! We all fold our clothes up using her method now, even the kids 😂.

ThinkingAgainAndAgain · 05/04/2024 09:47

Consumed is the Canadian version of SYLO, more or less. I first watched it about three years ago and loved it, and can’t find it anywhere since.

Secret spenders

How to save a grand in 24 hours.

Channel 4.

Definitely Marie Kondo! We all fold our clothes up using her method now, even the kids 😂.

What I saw in about 4 episodes of Marie Kondo was her emptying people's warderobe and piling clothes on the bed.

Can't Sell Must Sell which has recently started airing on C4 is right up my alley 👌

Agreed! It would be nice to see shows about people who collect or have loads. In a nice not sneery way.
is it because I’m ancient (60) and had a mum brought up in the war so waste not want not, and also in the 70s as kids there just wasn’t that much to actually buy. It seems insane now that people buy so much we need advice on how to get rid of it!
edited to say..including myself!
edited again to say..Ghosts! Brilliant, best tv in the world! Thanks for the tip

Hoarders SOS, where an antique expert, think he's called Kurt, goes to people's cluttered houses and tries to sell stuff for them he thinks is worth a bit of money.

NightPuffins · 10/07/2025 21:18

Another vote for Clean It, Fix It. It’s much more basic than Stacey’s show in that they don’t do a whole house. They usually pick a couple of rooms and, well, clean it and fix things. Aside from that, the carpenter is very attractive to watch.
