Now don't get me wrong I'm normally a big Warrick fan but yuk how sleazy was his voiceover when he was getting it on with the stripper

ah, but tablets for divorce sound so cool.....

"Dr, I need to divorce DH"

"here you go then, have these pills and all will be sorted by the end of the course"

would make life so simple would it not

mynameis · 05/03/2008 13:10

Side effects include:

Irresistible urge to keep shirt open at all times

Really bad sex talk!

Admit my friend could have done with something like that when she had her useless lump(hubby) removed

itchymum · 05/03/2008 15:37

arf

Psychomum5 · 05/03/2008 19:39

still on the feeling tho

Flamesparrow · 06/03/2008 08:11

I was worried I was the only one left deeply traumatised!

mynameis · 06/03/2008 10:04

Lol Flamesparrow. No the trauma is still with me too. Actually feeling quite queasy at the thought of next weeks episode

I personally blame the director. They had the guy who directed the exorcist direct this episode. I feel there is no way Warrick would act like that. He is too cool.

I felt it as actually quite a poor episode of CSI in general.

bethoo · 06/03/2008 18:39

tbh i am quite disappointed with the 8 season. adn sara bugged me as she was always so bloody miserable, Grissom deserved better (like me!! ) oh yes would i!!

Oooooooooooh. The director changing explains a lot. I thought it felt all wonky like the tarantino episode where they were shoving in random friend type things that don't normally get mentioned in CSI.

Was the really random one taken from the perspectives of the dead bodies a guest director too?

shrinkingsagpuss · 06/03/2008 19:48

I haven't liked this series either - that wiered episode last week with the nerdy bloke doing "murder stories" was pointless.
I do think Grissom looks better - perhaps he's cheered up from getting a bit with suicidal, and has discovered the joy of sex (not the book....)

Flamesparrow · 06/03/2008 19:51

I like the geek episodes - a bit of light relief. would rather that than random tarantino or exorcist ones

shrinkingsagpuss · 06/03/2008 19:55

but Tarantoni id the excellent "bury whats is name alive" episode, that had my flesh creeping for AGES. got to go, low blood sugar, having to re type everything as can't spell.

sorkycake · 06/03/2008 19:58

i thought warrick had let himself go tbh, he looked a bit,,,er,,,,chunky.
Horatio is the dogs!
I don't rate CSI NY at all, which is a shame because GS is a good actor and the guy with the glasses is my cuppa, the show just stinks!
dirty talk from a chunky guy is just wrong.

AND it was a highly predictable story, going back to try to get strapped into the chair in the office, normally an episode wouldn't be so crass.

Flamesparrow · 06/03/2008 19:59

It still felt wrong. I liked the story, but the awake autopsy thing and the weirdy bits with them talking about their weekend in the locker room just felt wrong and like he had never bothered to watch it before.

meridian · 06/03/2008 20:06

I didn't like the episode much either.. i see were they were going with the pills.. and I think the stripper dosed his drink anyway... sadly I watch all three and I quite like the New York one now but didn't when it first started... and I hate when they do the cross over episodes.. its just a bit embarassing...

Flamesparrow · 06/03/2008 20:10

oh yes with the stripper drugging

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 06/03/2008 20:12

new york is the best series at the mo.

i didnt think this weeks vegas was v good to be honest

dh wont tolorate miami

meridian · 06/03/2008 20:14

DH watches it.. I think he only does becuse Horatio is such a twat.. that and there is a bigger chance of semi-naked extras walking about

sorkycake · 06/03/2008 20:19

Miami is sooo bad it's fab!
I've never in all my telly watchin' days seen anyone act with such intensity for the smallest mundane things.

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 06/03/2008 20:23

I used to watch it despite dh joking, but the more times I'd hear him muttering "and on go the sunglasses" the more I was put off!
